I would over lap the seems and perhaps gorilla tape as well. **Q: Would this work as underlayment for a path?** A: It's stiff and overkill for beneath a typical path. And it would be slippery, since it is slick to prevent bamboo from finding a place to grab. **Q: Will this product be heaved up by frost? Northern Massachusetts winters heave all sorts of stuff.** A: I live in Philly Suburbs.
