does this include the inscription?

No. You have to add an inscription. I was told by the funeral home that they normally inscribe a metal plate and hang it over the urn with a chain. That's what we will do.

Is the inside coated/painted?

no it is cast aluminum no coating on inside, but very well made

is this urn suitable/legal for burial?

I don’t see why not. But I don’t know the rules in every state.

Is this made of brass ?

I’m not sure the exact material but it is heavy and I’d coated inside with a sealant. The lid fit on tight. I was very surprised by how nice and beautiful it was. I was perfect for my dear sweet grandmother. She would have loved it.

Beautiful Urn

This urn really is beautiful and well made. I got this for my grandma as she loved flowers and gardening and although the urn was going to be buried and not on display I still wanted her to have something special and beautiful as her final resting place. I know she would have loved it. I was very happy with way the urn looked the details and color were as shown in the pictures.
