Love this thing. Great tripod for the price. Comparable to Manfrotto’s similarly built video tripods and compatible with their plates. This is my third Benro tripod/monopod and they all still work great.

I already own a Benro S6 kit that I bought a few years ago. I love the carbon fiber tripod from that package, but the pan had very little drag and there's no adjustment. I had hopes the S6Pro would solve that issue, seeing that it's continuously adjustable. Sadly, the S6Pro head I received had no pan drag at all, no matter the setting. It's too bad - this head had all the features I was looking for, it's fairly compact and weighs so much less than most of the competition in the < $500 range. So I'm still looking for THE budget head - I hate using the Manfrotto 502 heads. Who, in their right mind, put that tilt lock on the wrong side?

My camera setup is not very heavy, on counterbalance setting 4 the camera tilts, on counterbalance 5 the camera returns to upright position

We bought a BenPro from Kickstarter. It takes 20 minutes to set up and is still not even. I am buying a different tripod.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM BENRO. Horrible customer service. They keep giving me the runaround and taking forever to respond. Good customer service is paramount nowadays and Benro should not be trusted. Please please avoid Benro and spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Good height and stability.

Excellent piece of kit. Well made, throught out, robust and very agile for tripod mounted DSLR with long fixed primary lense. Plenty of adjustments on the piece and great height adjustment, especially for someone tall like me. Can easilly take the weight of my camera and lenses - D500 + Nikon 500mm fixed and 200 - 500 zoom.

Encantado con este tripode, más firme de lo que parece y los movimientos ahhh!! maravilla para video. He visto manfrottis de 1000€ mucho peores... Solo dos pequeños peros, aunque pesa poco para lo que es, pesa más de lo que me gustaría sobretodo la rotula y que no puedo poner la rotula en la parte de abajo, por lo demás genial (Filmmakers, en el rango de 250-500€ la rotula sobretodo de lo mejor) espero que esto ayude... ;)
