I have now used this product twice. It is superb. I tested my jam for setting when the thermometer showed the correct temperature and it turned out amazing. Very accurate. Great value for the price paid. I really liked how you could adjust the clip to suit your pot size. No slippage with it. It stayed exactly where I placed it. Very easy to read the temperature on the gauge.

I used this to make sweets and fudge and worked well. A bit tricky to clean, but you can't leave it till afterwards, I have a mug of hot water to leave it in.

This thermometer was thought to be inaccurate as takes so long to reach 140 degrees required for hard crack toffee. The toffee made was good, however, so will use again. Not a seasoned toffee maker, so still experimenting.

Wasn't too sure which Themometer to buy...... Do I go with the more expensive Brass one or this? Opted for this less expensive one, and it's great. Have used it three times now twice for Toffee and once for Turkish Delight. Easy to use, Stands up in the saucepan and easy to wash!

Really fantastic quality, I was expecting something cheap and cheerful, but was pleasantly surprised by the build quality, should last for years if I don't drop it.

A good sized thermometer with a very handy hook to fix it to the side of the pan. However, after my second batch of jam, which was quite sticky, I had to scrub the thermometer to clean it properly. This erased some of the markings. My old sugar thermometer had the makings etched in and enamel painted (or something like that) on top so no amount of scrubbing removed the scale. It's still usable but I'll have to take care cleaning it in future.
