Well built. Excited about ordering another. Only one caveat. DO NOT REVERSE THE POLARITY! The application I wanted this for, needs to be positive dimming. This is negative dimming. Meaning that it lowers the negative voltage side and not the positive side. The result in reversing polarity is a smoke show. Yep I smoked it ten minutes out of the package! Wired correctly, it preformed perfectly. I'm not knocking this at all. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is to bring attention to my error and save you from the same. The red wires are both marked input+. I don't believe this has a factor in my issue because this dims the negative side. Positive should be a passthrough. I have five in my Land Rover controlling the volume of my backup alarm, and as dimmers of four sets of different LEDs. Seems to be waterproof as well, as I have one under the hood. Dims from like 100% to about 5% as the instructions show. Each wire is labeled as positive/negative in/out so wiring it in is simple.
