Great and useful magnets but not industrial strength so great for the lighter project

I bought these to put a lightweight magnetic wall planner on the wall. It also has a few small, lightweight pens with a magnet in to place next to the board. I went for this due to its description, to include "super holding power" and "stronger than most brands". It also states it's "ideal for ... Display, white, dry erase boards" "commercial and industrial use". These were easy to remove from the packaging and easy to stick to the wall. They are also easy to remove off the wall. In fact, they're so easy to remove that they fall off themselves and the adhesive to the wall is extremely poor. Further, quite a lot of the magnets had little magnetic power. Even whilst in a flat surface there was little magnetic attraction between these magnets and the pens, to the point that many of the squares are completely unusable due to the poor magnetic power. Once on the wall, 2 things keep repeatedly happening: 1) the magnets suddenly lose power and the planner/pens keep falling to the floor 2) the adhesive on the back of the magnets keeps failing and the magnets keep falling off the wall. They then end up on the floor, and due to their small size, are a choking hazard for young children/pets. These are dreadful and are not fit for purpose, they certainly do not match the description!

Not super strong but far better than other ones I had to return. Fit for purpose which was to stick paint pans in a palette. One per half /full pan is good enough! They stay in even when I turn the palette upside down.

Please read through to update. Don't think I've ever given anything such a low star review before. Not sure if I was just expecting too much maybe. I feel like the adhesive backing is fairly useless and if on anything that might get remotely warm from the sun or just room temperature the adhesive will give up and the magnet will slowly slide off of it's place. The magnets don't appear to be very strong, oh except for anything I didn't want it to stick too of course. Even if using more of the sheet I did not feel I could have any trust in the strength of it. A slight breeze, walking past and touching the object being held up and they magnets uncouple straightaway. Sadly, I don't feel there is value for money here as I am going to have to buy something else. I only wanted it to be able to more easily access the window handle when applying a window net. The most of the net is held in place by Velcro but the magnets wouldn't hold together even a small section. Guess they will go in the craft box for use by my teenager niece's and nephew, not a total waste but I could have bought cheaper for them. Update: I was very surprised to hear from the company to offer me a full refund. I was not expecting this and also declined this. I feel that on a different day and less tired I would have realised these were not what I needed. However, since this post I realised just use more. 3x3 square worked well. Combined with some small metal plates from other magnetic buys I was able to get my job done. I did add a little extra adhesive for my peace of my mind as well. I have always felt that a company shouldn't be judged on one bad experience and two stars does feel harsh. But that is because the product required me to make adjustments I feel I shouldn't have had too. I have increased this to four stars because I do feel the fault lies with myself and using more has solved my problem. The magnets are still ideal for the children's crafts as well. Good customer service is what keeps customers shopping with a company and I won't hesitate shopping this brand again simply because I feel if there is a problem they will help me to resolve it.

I used these to stick up laminated card onto a wall. The magnetic part of these is great but the sticky part kept falling off of plastic and they weren’t being moved at all, just sitting on a wall. I had to use glue to restock them on. This happened with about 40% of the ones I stuck on.

Great value for money, good sticking power. So good I have made 3 purchases of these magnets.

Absolutely awful. Both sides of the pack were negative so repelled each other. Then as we tried to remove the 3m sticky side it ripped the plaster and paint off the wall. The glue is great but the magnets don’t attract to one another.

The sticky part of the magnet is great, unfortunately these are not particularly strong making them pretty poor for their intended purpose!

I use magnetic strips for visual aids for my lessons. They stick to chalkboards and dry erase. These are well made, but cost much more than the rolls of magnetic tape I've bought

You will find thesemagnets perfect for a home hobby/craft project. The measurement are accurate and the product functions as desired. The adhesive is not the most powerful and neither are the magnets. You might need a little extra glue to get them to stick and I would not recommend them for anything with significant weight but they hold as much as I would expect from their size.

painted the wall with magnetic paint, then painted chalkboard paint over that. The kids love it!
