Well, not to worry, there is a way to get Netflix on the D3 (or G2) after all, and it too is perfectly legit. Netflix now works beautifully, just as it does on my other devices. Also any other app you just cant seem to find in Google Play Store will mostly likely be available there. Why Netflix is not available for download from the Play Store I do not pretend to know, but I have a hunch it has to do with Goovis not being a major player in the tablet/smartphone world and this device is neither a smartphone or a tablet. Something maybe they need to work on. Maybe it will be fixed soon but in my opinion it should not be a deal breaker even if it were not. So, overall I am really happy with my new D3 controller which by the way works flawlessly with my G1 headset. It appears the makers of Goovis will now be furnishing timely upgrades as they become available so here's hoping this product will become even better.
