I injured my Achilles tendon over a month ago and was experiencing moderate pain and the back of my heel was swollen and not reducing. After a day or 2 of rest it would feel much improved but then as soon as I had to carry any kind of a heavier box up a driveway (read:daily repeated task) I would re-inflame it and be limping again. I was mildly disappointed that upon applying this brace it didn't "feel" immediately supportive: I was expecting it to feel like an Ace bandage. However, that is NOT what it is designed to do. I did not notice any active feelings of compression or massaging and forgot I was wearing it.....but then realized at the end of the day I wasn't limping!! I have now been wearing it for a few weeks for every shift of 8-10 hours a day, 5 days a week as a rural carrier. A few times I noticed pain while at home while not wearing it, ao I know the injury is not gone but it IS getting better slowly which is normal. I will be buying a backup for this as soon as it shows any sign of wear! The air compartments have shown no signs of deflating and I weigh about 210 lb. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Finally! I thought I had only aggrevated my Achilles tendon, but after trying two different sleeves/braces I quickly realized I had a true injury and needed immobilisation. Found this aircast while I wait for a doctor's appointment. I had immediate pain relief when I put it on after barely being able to put weight on my foot for the last two weeks.
