I had ordered a few of the iPod touch generation 6 covers for my husband, and they either didn't fit right, or the buttons wouldn't work, and I hated putting on the screen protector.. This one worked perfectly, fit just right, all of the buttons worked, and a built in screen protector as well with a belt clip.. This is a definition awesome well manufactured product.

I wasn't really aware that the outer shell snaps over the face of the iPod touch which also has a belt clip. It's convenient if you are in the habit of carrying the iPod in this manner. You don't have to use it as the case comes with a tough clear screen to protect the face of your iPod from a small hit. The case is pretty robust overall but IMO uncertain if it's shock resistant from a small drop to the ground. The cases are stiff and firm which gives me this impression. I've got a new casing for my smart phone but it has semi-soft rubber corners so I feel confident it will with-stand a small shock if it hits the floor. The firm outer shell for the iPod will protect the iPod casing from scuffs and dents but protect the inner workings if dropped? Unsure. The photos is a little misleading as mine do not have the little corner bumpers as shown prominently in the pics. However I do like the snap outer protective shell with the quick iPod release and the belt clip, which rotates btw, is handy if you're going for a walk or run and using wireless headphones. 4 out of 5 thumbs up.

I can't remember the last time I got so excited about a product. It is fantastic! Provides great all-around protection for your iPod, looks really good, feels solid, and is more than reasonably priced for the protection it provides. I especially like the fact that it has a built-in screen protector - you don't have to screw around trying to get the screen protector centered in exactly the right place - it does it for you. The only thing that is not absolutely perfect is the clip attachment that comes with it - it fits perfectly when the until is inserted into it face down, but when you insert the unit into it so you can use the iPod, it does not fit quite as perfectly. Given how perfect everything else about this product is, this is a minor concern, but still a bit perplexing. Still, the best case I've ever used.

I bought this case because it completely encapsulates my apple iPod that I spent a fortune for and I wanted to protect it the best I could. I bought this case with all intentions of removing the built in screen protector and using another brand of tempered glass protector for the simple reason is they don’t scratch like the plastic one would that came on the case. This case adds a little more heft to it so it can be easier to pickup and the outer edges have ridges to make it easier to hold without slipping. All in all it is a good sturdy case that should hold and protect your apple product with no problem. My only complaint with this case is it should have soft rubber at the corners or on the back side to keep it from sliding on hard surfaces like your car’s dashboard. Just a thought if they wish to improve upon their product. PS If you look on the of the case on that center piece there are six hard rubber tits probably only to hold the outside piece to the inter piece but does not in no way prevent your iPod from sliding.

I had one of these for years for my favorite iPod. One day the edge along the bottommost edge, where the ear plug and charger plug inserts are, a small chunk cracked off. After YEARS of daily use day and night! This one was an exact replacement of my original. Am so thankful they are still making these virtually indestructible, iPod cases!!! Thank you!!! What a great product!!

Very nice, and much, much better than any of the cheaper ones I've had. Perfect fit. Online instruction video a little cryptic but easy enough to figure out. Screen protector plastic is nice and doesn't show the dust or air bubbles like stick on covers tend to do, though I carefully cleaned the screen before installing. A nice and perhaps unintended feature is that you can yank the belt clip off its base and use the base to protect the front of the device when not using ipod. This box would appear to be able to take a lot of abuse, but let's face it: until Consumers Reports or some other testing outfit is willing to objectively test this class of item, including trashing a lot of phones/ipods we'll never really know how good any patticular one is for serious protection. But this one looks like it adds a lot of protection. Note --- don't snap off the belt clip as I suggest if you want to use clip. I doubt that it will snap back on. Took a fair amount of force and a butter knife to pry/pull it off. Even with the belt clip the piece allows you to have solid protection on both sides---the clip just makes ithe overall package wide and bulky overall

The case is fantastic - it's rugged, it perfectly fits my device (iPod Touch 7th Generation), it's solid and protective but not heavy or bulky, and it has an attractive design. The screen protector is scratch resistant. It's probably best to snip off the rubber flap covering the Lightning connector, as the flap may put stress on the cable, and covering the connector doesn't seem that important. Overall, I can't imagine using my iPod Touch without this case. My only gripe - and the reason I'm reducing my rating to 3 of 5 stars - is that the rear shell has two parts that break easily. The belt clip mechanism broke after about a year. I figured this was due to stress caused by rotating the clip on the swivel. So, I bought a replacement case and left the swivel alone this time. But then, again after about a year, the plastic tab (which fastens the shell to the main case) broke. (See screenshot. Note the crack along the base of the plastic tab.) So, it's a great case, providing overall protection about as well as one can expect, but with a couple of cheap parts that break easily. Do I have to buy a replacement case every year because these parts are going to keep breaking? I use the case gently. And I've had other cases like this for my various portable electronic devices over the years. This is the only case I've had this kind of problem with. I hope i-Blason does something to enhance the durability of the belt clip mechanism and the plastic tab.

My first point is it's bulky. I know this can put people off. However, if you want to protect your device properly, you need to make exceptions and not be too fussy. The bulk of this makes up for the fact it works really well. I've done the drop tests on my iPod touch 6th gen, and it has survived some pretty heavy and huge drops! All without a scratch! It can be a little fiddly to assemble, but once in it's perfect! The headphone port cut out is nice! Comes with a flap to seal it when not using (same with charging port) and will fit non apple headphone jacks in (as long as they're not too thick). Literally not downsides to this case. It's well designed and does keep your iPod VERY SAFE!
