Cut it up in smaller pieces. Generally the melt and pour soaps are made so it is much easier if you want to add essential oils or other healing agents to the soap. You melt it and add what you want to it and then pour it into molds. If you decide to add fragrant oils (do not use synthetic oils, but essential oils) please check the web for instruction. It is very easy and there are lots of sites that can provide you the info. Enjoy and good luck. RSI **Q: Does it take colorant? Does it stay solid or begin to melt when in your hand? Does it have an odor?** A: I did not use colorant, I left the soap it's lovely honey color. I would think colorant would work as long as it meshes well with the soaps natural color. The soap does not melt in your hand, it's like any other bar of soap and stays solid unless heated up on stove to pour into molds. It doesn't have much of a smell, but you can easily add your favorite scent. It's great soap on its own and fun to melt and pour into your favorite molds. **Q: Can you add coconut oil or olive oil to this for extra softening?** A: I add one tsp of sweet almond oil and it sets fine **Q: How many bars of soap can I make with this 2lbs?** A: It depends on your mold size. I usually get 8 to 10 regular "bar" sized soaps. It will also depend on what you put in your soaps also.
