Love the price. *by R***. on Reviewed in the United States on December 7, 2019* The thing that I like most about this is the tightening knob. That’s the main thing. You don’t have to fool around with laces. Easy on, easy off. I’ve had mine for over 6 months and it hasn’t failed me yet. I also bought one for my nephew months ago and plan to buy him another one for Xmas. He also loves it. I buy a half size longer because it’s narrow (I usually buy EEE which are hard to find) for me. My nephew wears the same size as me (9.5), so I try it on first to make sure before wrapping it. ### ⭐⭐ So narrow in the middle, they bruised my feet *by M***L on Reviewed in the United States on December 9, 2018* With the boa system, you cannot control the tightness of one area of the shoes like you can with laces.First off, I wear size 10 medium in virtually everything I buy. The toe box on these shoes is great. But behind the toes it gets extremely narrow, as if my foot is shaped like a fork. If I leave the boa system loose enough to prevent pain in my mid-foot while wearing these, my heel slips out. The first time I took these to the course, I had to take them off before I teed off. The next time, I powered through a 9-hole round. I knew my feet were hurting, but they were bruised the next day, too. That's the first time that's ever happened in my life. The next time, still optimistic I could make them work and they'd stretch out, I wore much thicker socks (counter intuitive, I know), which allowed me to barely tighten the boa laces, but my heel didn't slip. You know what? That wasn't too bad, and though I had minor discomfort, there was no lingering pain. So, are the stretching or do I need to only wear them with thicker socks to keep my heel locked in? With only three data points, I'm not sure. I do know this, these shoes are much more narrow behind the toe joinints than other shoes.That said, if they fit your feet, they grip well, and I think there really is more than marketing-speak to the Boost concept.
