E-flite UMX Ultrix BNF Basic EFLU6450 Airplanes B&F Electric

I really love this aircraft it turns a mediocre beginner pilot may be better than the other people I fly with but a terrible pilot just beginning on this journey makes me look like on all out pro doing tricks roles spins loops even this little flat spinny thing that it does with full rudder I haven't said that I have crashed it at full throttle going straight plowing nose down into the ground of course it did break the nose off (doing tricks as a novice and didn't get the safe back on)but it was a clean break I was able to get the foam glue and glue it right back on and didn't need some beat after that It has plenty of power it'll get you out of sticky situations because of having enough to do so I did change out the props but the regular props work fine they're just quite expensive compared to the alternative The only reason. The batteries you can use an 800Mah like I did there are other alternatives basically a one cell battery it has a high enough c-rate will work I did have some in my box from RC cars that only ones that didn't work cuz they didn't have enough high enough C rate discharge and it started cutting out the motor as if the battery was low so I haven't said that a higher enough output battery should work as long as it's a single cell with the correct plug you will be fine This thing flies awesome was easy to set up All I did was put the preloaded model from my menu in and bind and go it was ready to fly in less than 10 minutes. Little rudder style winglets are there and they just stick in to give you the lowest profile inside the box for easy carry which I love however mine do fit a little bit loose I didn't put much stock into that and just immediately started flying it I haven't lost one in flight yet and I have done some crazy stuff when I did plow nose first into the ground though it did pop both of them off as well as the battery door other than that never had them come off at all so I don't be too concerned if yours fit very loosely cuz of course mine hadn't flown off but if you wanted to you could just put a piece of you know the the fuzzy side of velcro on there and that would give you a little tighter fit if you're worried about it off it seems too too loose. I originally had the larger version the blue one and I sold it to a buddy just to get him in cuz the planes he were trying to fly were kind of older and not as easy so I let him fly this and then ultimately sold it to him I ended up getting the red one to try which is smaller to see what the difference was mostly it allows me to fly in a much smaller space I can fly right outside of my house The larger one flies pretty much exactly the same but of course the turns are a little bit wider and such , The bigger one flies on a small three cell pack so of course it does seem like it has a little bit more punch but I don't think there's any lacking of power on this plane on one cell at all it is definitely phenomenal I have seen some info about it having bushings instead of bearings on the motor so that might be a long-term effect that wouldn't be as great whereas the larger one has bearings it will probably last longer but I'll keep flying it and figure that part out.

This is one of the best mini planes in my fleet and it is by far the most enjoyable airplane from e-flite. It can be docile or it can be wild. Different settings from beginners to expert. Crash resistant and fully assembled, only the two rear fins have to be push in, that is all. I bind it to my DX-9 radio because I go the BNF version, and instructions are easy to set up. I use a 500 mah 1S battery and I get 8 to 10 minutes flight from them. Flat spins are amazing and as soon as you let go the sticks, level flights every time. No rudder on this plane, but twin motors do the same as rudder. Elevons for keeping it simple and fun. Flight is when is calm or flight it when is 20 mph, it will surprise you.

Its a fun little plane, nit for beginners though ,you definitely need to have the concept down of operating an RC Plane.Its very fast, and moments are very quick. You can slow it down to where it hovers or you can speed it up to where you can lose it in 20 seconds. It handles the wind like a champ!!! Make sure you keep up.high because it flat so its very easy to get away from you... It also can change directions on a dime as well as hover or float precisely into your hands.... Does crazy spins, knife edges, inverted flights and loops...Amazing plane

I love this thing. Cheap, super durable and capable. Only gripe is that it should of come with the light kit from the factory. cutting apart a new plane to add lights seems silly and the lights are awesome.... so you need them.

For starters, I own just about every awesome little E-flite UMX plane that is made. For some reason I hesitated for a long time on this one. I really expected it to fly poorly. Boy was I wrong! Flies like a dream in all phases of flight. Nice gentle slow "high alpha", smooth and steady high speed, crazy aerobatics, gentle to land. And with the optional light set EFLU6455 it is easy to fly at night. What a total hoot to fly!

Bought this one for my son for his second plane he wanted something a little bit faster and more capable of doing tricks. His first was the Sport Cub. Ordered this and the first one we got from Amazon the chip fried upon trying to bind it to the radio. Smoke came up and everything, he was discouraged but Amazon being awesome like they always are within one minute on the app they were already sending out a replacement. Two days later received the replacement and it’s been nothing but perfect! Really impressed with how fast this little thing actually is. Supposedly on the horizon video you can do barrel rolls and flips while in safe mode according to the description however I have been unable to figure out how to set that up. You can do all those things you just have to flip the safe mode switch off to do it. But my son is getting really good at flipping it on and off to pull off his tricks. The box is very small and works perfectly as a travel case. So if you have to travel and need to be able to fly in your off time this is a perfect travel companion RC airplane. Definitely a winner from Horizon/Eflite!

I ordered a Umx Ultrix from Horizon hobby..I received the plane but it was used and broken and repaired..I ordered it on July 1 and got it on July 22 and it was used not new and the nose of the plane was broken off and glued back on and it had the wrong propellers and one of the servo protectors was missing..I will be sending this garbage back.

The UMX Ultrix is a ton of fun and feels way more capable than its tiny size suggests, with smooth handling and enough power for some fun aerobatics. I can fly it in smaller fields and even larger backyards, and the AS3X and SAFE modes make it stable enough that I'm not constantly fighting the wind. Build quality is great for a micro, it goes together with a battery in seconds, and it's become my go-to plane when I just want to grab something quick and get in the air.

This plane set up very quickly, uses a 1S inexpensive battery and is stable and very responsive. It's the perfect little plane to take anywhere to fly.

Nach vielen Unfällen immernoch das beste UMX Flugzeug. Man kann es fast überall total langsam an der spitze in der Luft hängen lassen, oder richtig Gas geben und Aerobatic Spaß haben. Unglaublich schnell und wenn man will langsam zu gleich

Habe heute aus Zeitgründen nur einen kurzen Funktionstest durchführen können . Es fliegt gut . Die Quer und Höhenruder stehen bei meinem Vogel neutral ab Werk . Ich musste lediglich Seitenruder nachtrimmen am Sender . Geheimfunktion Save Mode aktivieren bei der DX 6 : Wenn Ihr dem Schalter B die Flugmodifunktion zugewiesen habt (0 = Save 1 = Asx3 Lowrates und 2 = Ask3 Highrates, geht Ihr in Systemeinstellung > Kanalzuordnung > 5 Gear - Fahrwerk > Switchen zu Kanalquelle 5 Fahrwrerk dort tragt ihr B ein . Dann habt Ihr blau , grün , rot alle Modi .

Nichts für Anfänger, ansonsten Sau geiles Teil . Ich fliege den ultrix mit 1S 800 maH LIPO 👌

Weit über 100 Euro für so ein Minifliegerchen? Eindeutig ja! Ich hab nen ganzen Stall voller verschiedenster Modellflugzeuge und dieses hier ist meine erste Wahl. Er ist klein, transportabel, wahnsinnig vielseitig zu fliegen, von superschnell bis langsam aufm Luftpolster anfliegen, Turnspins, Handstarten, Hand fangen, alles möglich. Außen und in der Halle. Sollte ich eines Tages alle meine Modelle verkaufen, dieses bleibt. Jeden müden Cent wert. Falls das Modell eines Tages nicht mehr erhältlich sein sollte, hab ich mir schon mal 3 gesichert.
