A: Being original. It will open up enough to go over the shoulder for the AK-47

A: Don't believe real leather but great sturdy product.

**Q: Does this sling have a black leather keeper or brown?**
A: It's very very dark brown, very close to black

**Q: Is this an rpk sling? and if so do they all come with the shoulder pad?**
A: No.  It is a standard sling for an SKS rifle.  It has very solid snap hooks at each end, and could be used on almost any rifle including an RPK.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Russian Rifle Sling Seems Totally Legit! Just not for my SKS

I'm not an expert on this subject, but this sling seems totally legit! It's of very solid and durable quality, too. Unfortunately, I'm not able to attach it to my Yugo SKS in the correct, authentic, military way, because the sling's hardware will not fit through my rifle's toggle. Perhaps it would fit through a Tula's toggle or a Russian-made AK (don't know). I notice in the photos posted by other reviewers that most of them do NOT have it attached correctly, so they would not have run into this issue. (In other words, they merely clipped it onto the toggle, instead of threading through it.) I just stumbled upon a YouTube video where someone was saying that Yugos come with leather slings, so perhaps that is what I need to get. Nevertheless, this Russian sling is really nice and very cool! I will be using it on something... It was also delivered in lightening fast speed from someone named Vlad! Thank you!
