Great Little Charger!
Charged my new Makita LXFD01 Drill Battery right up! Easy to use right of the box, my battery fit right on it, and performs great. Only thing to mention is that this charger has a built-in cooling fan, so it does have a little sound when it's plugged in and charging a battery... given that I'd make sure this charger is on a relatively flat surface with good ventilation around it to make sure it doesn't overheat. But besides that, a great Makita product!

Great price usually to go to be true $28.00 bucks + tax and free delivery $110.00 online at home depot free in store pick up. Anyway I was a little bit skeptical The rapid charger came with absolutely no packaging bit of a mystery shipped in double bagged fed x bags looked it over very carefully to see it it was used only a had a little scuff mark on one side otherwise perfect, so I tried it right away much to my surprise it works perfectly (sofar) still a mystery but at this price I'd have to recommend it. I turned my 16 gauge makita acutally made in Japan cordless trim gun in to a kit charger and 2 batteries. I actually found a hard case for all this stuff to fit in a bit of a miracle on it own. (Coho tackle box) $29.00 at Costco. $95.00 else where

I was worried at the price point, but bought expecting to return if it didn't measure up. I got a measured 7.0A sustained charge, which is perfectly reasonable for a 9A max charger, and the battery pack never got hot, thanks to active cooling, while the charger body got hot and was clearly doing a lot of work.
