Skar Audio SK8M 8" 2-Way Marine Full Range 500 Watt Coaxial Speakers, Pair (White)

I did a set of 8" and a set of 6.5". I expected to cut fiberglass for the 8", but didn't expect to cut for the 6.5". Used a dremel pen grinder to cut the fiberglass to size. 8" came with a nice rubber gasket, 6.5" came with a 3M rubber gasket. Not 100% sure why they would be different. Thankfully the previous speakers had large spade terminals. Sound wise, they are very good! With the bass set to 4 of 6, it shakes the boat seats lol. Definitely a very nice combination of speakers at a very good price. These blow away kicker, pioneer, and are a very close second to JL audio. Definitely recovered from a 4 star for the install troubles, to a 5+ star for audio quality. Certainly better than I ever expected!! Running off of the stock JBL factory radio and they sound amazing. Can't wait to convert the system over to my BT 1500w marine amp and get it fine tuned! It can only get better!!! Highly recommend to any buyer, but expect minor size difference and slight modifications needed for install. 100% worth it!

Exactly what I was looking for! Sound great fo the money. Have mine hooked up to a NVX Amp.

Awesome sound. Clearwith lots of base. Metal grill looks great. After using kicker for years and having to replace every year. I went with Skar and what a difference. Love them. Better than Kicker in every way.

So far so good put 4 of these in my 20ft boat and they sound Chrystal clear and very loud Also waterproof seems good so far I’ve sprayed them with water and they still perform perfect

Overkill! Im pusing 4 at 120 watt RMS each of the 150 RMS maximum watts and i cant turn them to max volume at 1/2 gain on the amp it is so loud. Extremely happy with the bass and clarity of these full range speakers! Just do it you wont regret it!

I purchased 4 of these speakers based off of reviews. I hooked these up directly to a Boss MGR450B head unit and they sound amazing. The bass is deep and the highs and mids fill the boat also. I could not be happier with the purchase. I could only imagine how great they would sound with a Skar Audio amp! I am thinking of purchasing four of the 6.5" speakers and the Skar RP-75.4ABM amp to complete my setup.

You absolutely can’t compare another speaker to the make of this SKAR marine 6.5 inch and 8 inch correction speakers. They handle the power with ease. The 6.5 or nice but they 8 inch can handle anything you feed it. I have 18- 6.5” & 8” total with other brand sub and they get the job done very very happy with the look and the Performance🚤

Just received the speakers and I installed it on the boat, they are OK and I would say if u paid 80 bucks or so u will perhaps manage to find same product out there, I replaced my cheap speakers with these and I don't see much difference.
