It's durable, high-quality, has inset screw holes near the outer edges so that it's stronger and more stable. It works great and all of our standard paddles snap in snugly and fit perfectly! We installed one on each side of our kayak. Make sure you install them above the water level. The only thing this company should include for the price are screws.
