Best optics quality
I've ordered & tried SO many different OTC (Over The Counter) progressive specs, and have found the clarity quality of all Foster Grant progressives, to have the best and WIDEST, horizontal visual clarity for computer & reading without any distortion. I wear them a little low on my face to peek over the top of frame, when walking or focusing at far distances. It's BY FAR, the easiest focusing experience keeping them on my face all day, without any issues. Immediately able to SEE VERY NICELY upon putting them on, without needing any time to adjust to the optics, unlike a new pair of optical prescription progressive glasses, which usually DOES require "time to get used to them". They even beat the quality of the leading optical progressive lenses available, that supposedly have the widest field of view. They're called Varilux. l spent over $200.00 (not including frame), on that Varilux, which ended up being $ thrown out the window because I could never see with them. These "OTC" Foster Grants have been a true blessing, comfortably easy to use, with no hassle or headaches, upon wearing. ***VERY MUCH WORTH THE MONEY*** #BestOpticsWithFosterGrants

Excellent product. Much better than my prescription progressives!
Great value for the money! Much better than a $350 pair of glasses from my optician. I bought these while I was waiting to see my eye doc and get new glasses made after cataract surgery. These worked really well, providing excellent clarity for reading close up, and computer work. I did notice its distance viewing was slightly less acute than the view with my newly corrected, cataract-free eyes, but not by much. When I got my new progressive prescription glasses, they were tough to wear because viewing anything away from the center was blurry and streaky. Apparently, this is because physics and optical law require the prescription to be applied to the lenses in the shape of an hour glass. I Googled it. But somehow, these Foster Grants are designed without those hourglass constraints and they work great!

Quality readers are worth paying extra.
Solid, comfortable frames and quality lenses. More expensive than cheap readers, but worth the price. Your eyes will thank you!

Not a good first experience with multi-focus
The glasses were of the expected quality, and worked as described, but in practice I found that the part of the lens with the right magnification was rarely where I needed it to be, so I was either tipping my head unnaturally or having to hold the glasses in my hand to see what I needed. Maybe that just means that a multi-focus lens is not practical for me, but it could be practical for others, so I rated it as three stars.

Better Than Prescription
I bought a $500 custom pair of transition glasses from my optometrist which didn't work well, these are better for way less money!

Would be perfect if top area was 0 magnification
I needed some magnification for reading and computer work, but my distance vision is perfect. I previously tried prescription glasses, but they we're horrible -- the reading area was pea sized and you had to turn your head back/forth to read a book or paper. The part that I love about these glasses is the large, edge-to-edge reading area (i.e., no more head turning to read). The computer area is very nice too. The one part I don't like is the top (distance) area. I wish that was 0 magnification, then these would be perfect. Foster Grant -- maybe you should offer a model like that. Other than that, the quality seems very good -- as good as the lower-end ones I could get from a prescription glasses store, and these have the extra coatings that you would have to pay additional for at a glasses store. I knocked off 1 star for the distance magnification, but, IMO, they are still a good value at this price point.

Magnification is consistent horizontally
These worked well for what I wanted them for: reading glasses for singing with a choir. The magnification at the top of the lens, while not zero, is low enough that I don't have to push the glasses down my nose to see the conductor well. And the reading magnification toward the bottom is just right, with a wider horizontal field of view than the bifocal readers I was using.
