Healthy Eyes SuperView 2 Softgels, 120 Count

Several members of my family have experienced macular degeneration with the closest relative to me has been my own mother who suffered with this condition the last 10 years of her life. Several years ago my opthamologist pointed out that I was on the verge of experiencing that same failure in my eyesight and recommended that I began a very serious program of nutritional supplementation. I did my research and found that this product fulfilled the requirements that my ophthalmologist had outlined and began to use this product. Previously I had previously brought several others that were more expensive before I found this 21st century product. My last examination a year ago showed that there had been no further deterioration in the macula of my eye and I was extremely pleased. I have continued to use this product because I believe that it is an excellent product for the money as opposed to other preparations that are similar but cost a great deal more. You can't find a better value! Update: I I have continued to take this product for several years having been if I should you so by my ophthalmologist. I had a thorough exam yesterday and buy teeny tiny cataracts have not gotten any worse although the doctor expected them to, and the macula has not deteriorated further. His advice to me was to continue taking what I was taking because it was working. I have nothing but great satisfaction with this product. I have added saffron to my regimen daily as research has shown that is also efficacious to Eye Health. I don't think you can go wrong by taking this product and I have saved a ton of money over the name brand.

Cheaper than other AREDS 2 options, though there are some very slight differences from the actual researched formulation.

I received the bottle on July 19, 2024. Just opened to refill my Med tray and they were stuck together! I could not prise them apart!!

This was a great product at a great price vs the National Brand of AREDS all Vitamin. But beware it is no loner a copycat formula to the National brand. The generic Manufacturers were sued and had to change the formulation. They now say compare to or similar to. They removed 30 mg of Zinc (. 40 mg - 30mg) leaving only 10mg. I now take 30mg of Zinc as a second pill to make it the correct formulaion. Based Upon the AREDS ll clinical study paid for by the National Brand that charges an exorbitant price For vitamins that are very inexpensive to make.

I love these vitamins. My ophthalmologist recommended them for me.

I have ordered this item multiple times and generally have been satisfied with the product. However, twice during the past year I have received this item with most of the contents stuck together in a single mass. Shaking the contents does not separate the individual gel caps; you will have to stick your finger in from the top of the bottle opening to pry each unit off one by one which takes some effort. This seems to be a quality control issue.

I have Macular Degeneration and need to take 2 of these daily. They are easy to swallow and the cost is lower than that other brand.

Finally a generic for AREDS Preservation! My container apparently spent a good amount of time in extreme heat since they arrived all stuck together although my first order was fine a few months ago. (I had not read other reviews until now). I did try the freezer trick I read on the internet but that did not work. I contacted Amazon for a replacement and they routed my request to THEIR supplier of the vitamins. A very accommodating lady at 21st Century sent a replacement although she was not obligated to do so since it was really Amazon's problem. Overall, I love shopping on Amazon but I thought it was wrong they passed the buck on handling this replacement. I hope the manufacturer somehow gets credit from Amazon.
