Probably a bit overpriced *by J***S on May 14, 2014* Most simple hammocks are cheaper, but for your money here you get a better quality of material, that's very resistant to tearing and pleasant to the touch. Many other hammocks have dumped people on the ground, which can cause injury; always check what you might fall on when hammocking. I would not use a hammock unless it's made out of ripstop cloth ENO.Pros:* Great material - durable and pleasant* Spacious - very important for comfort* Well constructedCons:* pretty heavy compared to others.* premium price but you still need hanging strapsI feel like for $100 they should include the Python straps. There are lighter (but more complex) hanging systems, but if you want ultralight you're looking at the wrong hammock. They go together perfectly. It'd still be a premium price, but the value would be much better and more appropriate IMO.Still, if you get this and the Python straps, you have a *very* easy to use, fairly durable hammock that most people would not consider heavy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Used for 4 days and loved it *by P***S on July 17, 2013* Mind you I haven't slept in it overnight yet but I put it up between a couple of trees at a farm and used it every day for reading and relaxing. I love that it feels (and apparently is) very sturdy and yet at the same time the material is very soft and smooth to lie on. I have the blue one which is such a nice color to be near (and enveloped in) - especially on a beautiful summer day. Reminds me of a swimming pool or tropical waters. :) It's also much easier to put up and take down than I thought it would be. I was planning on buying the ENO brand one and it costs a bit less (30.00 or so?) but the extra hundred-pounds of weight limit the Kammok offers was totally worth the extra money. Half the enjoyment of the product is feeling secure in there and knowing that if a child climbs on, I won't have to become less relaxed (child invading my space issue aside - haha), wondering whether the thing can hold us both without any strain on the carabiners.The only issue that's slightly frustrating (not a deal-breaker though) is that the edges are firmer - which I"m guessing they have to be to hold people in safely. So when I'm in full burrito mode and I want to climb out and I've put it high enough that I can't touch the ground at first, my legs have to go up a bit and over the edge before I can search for the ground. In so doing, the backs of my legs get pushed on pretty tightly if that makes sense. The edge - while not being exactly thin - is thin enough that it feels kinda like a wire pushing into my legs (an exaggeration), when I get out, if that makes sense. It may be that I put the straps higher up than the recommended 6 feet high though - can't remember.I saw that there's a person in the reviews here that had the old carabiners which failed (before these new, very strong ones) and I'm disappointed to read that he (or she - can't remember) hasn't heard back from the company after two email attempts. I hope a phone call will work out. I've read other reviews stating that the company has good customer service and stands behind their product so I hope that's the case.EDIT - yup it looks like the company is standing behind their product. Good job for them. 2 thumbs up. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Get THIS Hammock Over Others! *by K***R on November 17, 2012* I received this hammock as a gift from someone who bought from Amazon. I have the Sahara Tan/Stone Grey model and there is a picture I uploaded that shows you how the coloring actually looks compared to what the Amazon pic shows which is more silvery/white. The hammock has diamond stitching throughout the whole thing which makes the hammock much stronger. I love the water resistant stuff sack as it's light and durable and it's sewn right to the hammock so you won't lose it. The hammock feels good to the touch and the suspension system is VERY STRONG! This does not come with straps, a bug net or a rain tarp but it's worth the extra money due to the guarantee and quality of construction. I bought the Kammok Python Straps and they are probably the MOST effective and easy to set up straps I have EVER used. Plus, on the straps you have tons of adjustable loops that make for the most comfortable and consistent set ups in a hammock.
