A: It slices through bait very easily so I don't see why it can't cut a plastic bottle.  Why would you buy a fishing knife to cut through a bottle?

**Q: What type of sharpening stone you recommend for this German blade?**
A: I use workmate belt sander for knives on all my kitchen hunting and fishing. That’s what I do 😎

**Q: Is it dishwasher safe?**
A: you should NEVER put a knife in the dishwasher.

Super sharp. Dulling quickly but at the price I would say pretty good. Big, got for some very large chum salmon I took for smoking (and some hens for eggs for steelhed).
