Great Tea Mug
I like this. It's exactly what I anticipated receiving. It's a simple ceramic mug with a silicone sleeve instead of a handle. It's not double walled, so it does get hot when you put boiling water into it. It cools to a comfortable temp fairly quickly. It has a basic lid that is not leak proof, but protects you from splashes or dribbles. I wouldn't recommend giving it to kids or using it while you base jump, but if you're making yourself a nice cup of tea to sit down and enjoy, this is a very cute and comfortable mug.

Pretty, great size
I originally bought a pink terrazzo 16 oz tumbler but ended up returning it because I really wanted the cream terrazzo which was out of stock at the time. Glad I did. I ordered the cream when it was back in stock and I think is a bit thicker and more substantial compared to the pink. A lot of reviews mention that it is thin and gets really hot when pouring tea water in. Hopefully this new batch is a little better about that. I use it primarily for coffee so that is not an issue for me. I wanted a portable mug that was ceramic and microwaveable which is surprisingly hard to find. This checks all my boxes so I am happy with it. I don’t have a dishwasher and it has held up well with hand washing. I try to avoid using metal spoons to stir my drinks because they mildly scratch the bottom. I use chopsticks as an easy substitute. Other reviewers who marked it lower have legitimate complaints (especially for the price) but for my intended use the mug is attractive and functional.

Great Concept but Execution Could be Improved
First, let's be clear about this mug's limitations. It's ceramic so it's just not going to keep your beverage warm for as long as one of those vacuum sealed stainless steel mugs. I've tried several of those but find that they work TOO well, keeping my tea scalding hot for so long I have to wait hours and hours before it's even safe to drink. This one's performance is pretty much the same as any old coffee mug, which is exactly what I want. Next, the lid is really only there to prevent splashes. There's no way a push-on lid with a sliding valve like this will ever be leak proof. If you need that, you should look for something with a screw-on lid and a locking valve. Personally, I don't use the lid much at all, but it does help to prevent spills during the long walk from the break room back to my office. It also helps to keep dust out when I'm on the factory floor, but I'd never even consider tossing it in a bag. Understanding all that, this mug still seemed to be exactly what I was looking for: something to use around the office that looked really sleek and unique. I've had it for quite a while now, using it pretty much every day, and it still looks brands new. The ceramic has a nice satin finish, with smooth rounded edges that are really comfortable to drink from and easy to clean. Conceptually, I don't mind the lack of a handle. Most regular coffee mugs have tiny little handles that you can barely get a single finger through or they have a weird shape which makes them really uncomfortable to carry, especially when they're of a larger size. Conversely, the silicone sleeve of this mug has a very nice texture in the hand, is easy to remove, and quite durable. It can be a little annoying during cleaning because it traps a lot of water, but that's hardly a deal breaker. I also like that it cushions the bottom of the mug, giving it a soft landing when setting it down on a hard surface and making it very quiet. However, there are some serious design flaws, all of which relate to the silicone sleeve. While it feels nice to hold, it doesn't do much to stop the heat from migrating through to your hand. You can hold it for maybe 15-seconds before you have to put it down or risk a second degree burn. To safely make the journey back to my desk, I have to put a layer of crumpled paper towel between the mug and my hand. The bottom of the mug also has a slight curve to the edges which makes the base less stable. This is only exacerbated by the sleeve which doesn't always sit perfectly flat with the bottom of the mug, making it rock very easily. The hole in the bottom of the sleeve can also act like a suction cup, causing it to unexpectedly stick to your desktop. When you reach for the mug, expecting to easily pick it up, you could find that it instead sticks for a split second, which is a great way to flirt with disastrous spills. I feel a slight redesign of the sleeve would fix all these problems. A creped design, like is used on disposable cardboard coffee cups, would help with the heat transfer. You can even buy these already, but I'd prefer not to lose the nice smooth look of the original. I'm sure the company could come up with something that had a smooth exterior and a creped interior which would deliver the increased performance needed while still retaining the sleek look. The air spaces would also prevent it from turning into a suction cup and help to let any trapped water get out. Next, they need to give this redesigned sleeve a squared-off base that still wraps around the bottom of the mug. This would give it a nice stable base while keeping the cushioning on the bottom. If the manufacturer addressed these issues, it would make this a near perfect mug for me.

Important changes need to be made...
I bought this mug because I need a reusable to-go coffee cup and I hate the metallic taste that steel-insulated cups give my hot drinks. For the most part, this works just fine, but there are some improvements I would like to see and honestly, I wouldn't recommend until these changes are made: 1) The lid is not leak-proof as advertised. While the rubber ring connects the lid to the mug itself just fine, it's the lid itself that leaks. The slide that opens and closes the lid does not have any rubber seal and my coffee leaks every time I use it. I wouldn't expect it to survive jumping jacks or cartwheels, but I would hope that driving around with it in my cupholder would be no problem. Not the case. I would like to see a complete seal in every aspect of the lid to prevent splashes/leaks (and a screwed cap rather than a "pop in" cap would be nice too). 2) The silicone exterior is too big for the mug and tends to slide down (and it's not a great insulator). This wouldn't normally be a big deal except that the mug sits on that same silicone, and when it slides down it causes the cup to become unstable on a surface. As if it's sitting on a cushion instead. 3) Going back to the lid, it's always nice to have a mouthpiece that doesn't leave coffee all over the lid every time you drink it. Not the biggest issue, but something to point out. Having a mouthpiece that drains excess coffee back into the cup would be nice so I don't have to slurp the lid after every sip. 4) Heat -- this one doesn't bother me personally, because I drink my coffee pretty quickly but any warm drink you put in doesn't stay insulated for very long. Hour tops before it becomes lukewarm. Probably a result of the bad silicone insulation as it gets very hot in your hand. I've seen other "double walled" vacuum insulated mugs out there so I know it can be done. I hope this review finds the eyes of the manufacturers/designers and some changes are made because this really could be a fantastic to-go mug that appeals to the eyes, fits ergonomically in the hand, fits in nearly all cupholders and Keurigs, and leaves your drink tasting as they should.

Great mug!
I bought this mug six years ago and have used it pretty consistently since then. It still looks perfect. And I get happy when I use it. I see an lot of complaints on here about heat retention. This is not an insulated mug. It's just a cute ceramic coffee mug with a silicone cover that makes it easy to hold. This company does have heat-trapping tumblers, but these are just mugs. As it says in the description. So it seems silly to complain about something not being an entirely different product.

A luxurious travel mug
I bought this mug because I am allergic to nickel that can be present and stainless steel mugs and rubber, which I am leery might be present in mugs with rubber grips. Since this is ceramic and silicone, I gave it a shot. Although I was a little skeptical about the price. My very first thought was that this mug actually feels like curiously soft. Like it is buttery soft, almost like a pair of Lularoe leggings. Unlike most to travel mugs, it is pleasant to drink from without the lid on, but not annoying to drink out of with the lid on. The lid is decent, it will leak, and it is easy for the cover two in advertently be opened when you don’t want it to be. But if you want a decadent cup of coffee and don’t need to worry about spelling, this is in excellent mug. Edited to add: I should say, it gets very hot to the touch. I usually give it a minute or two after pouring my coffee before I will hold it. Also, while it is better at keeping my coffee hot than a regular lidless ceramic mug, it doesn’t keep coffee warm forever (I’m guessing an hour or less). Nonetheless, I still love the mug.

To hot to handle
These are very pretty BUT the offer no insulation for your hands with hot items. Kept warm for about 90 minutes. Not worth the price as now I have to buy a copies so I can hold the mug.

Cute aesthetic, great for light use. Poor durability, heat retention, not spill proof.
Not exactly what I was looking for, but great for using at home while working. Keeps my tea/coffee hot longer than in a open mug, but NOT for hours like a double-wall vacuum insulation mug, which is what I usually use for to-go situations. The mug is very aesthetically pleasing, I absolutely love the look of it. It has a nice weight to it, easy to hold, and not easily tipped. I steep my tea in it with boiling water and the cup can be hot to touch even with the silicone sleeve. Can be a bit too hot to sip from since the ceramic lip holds heat of the liquid. The silicone slip has a cute design, but difficult to remove and I worry about moisture getting trapped under it, after I wash the mug. The lid seems a bit cheap compared to the mug. Simple design, fits decently, not spill or leak proof from my experience. The silicone vacuum seal, I guess you would call it, on the inside of the lid can give a weird taste or smell to the tea or coffee. My main complaint is that the lid is extremely awkward to drink from, it does not sip well. I actually prefer to drink out of the mug without the lid on and use it purely for trapping heat in when I’m not drinking from it. Overall, I think it’s a cute mug, great for light use, and will definitely use it at home while working. However if you are looking for something durable, for to-go use that won’t spill or leak easily, and that will hold heat over 1+ hours; Sorry to say, this is not the mug for you.

Zufrieden
Material hochwertig und stabil. Zum üblichen to-go geeignet. Würde den Becher aber nicht im Rucksack o.ä. transportieren. Bei längerer Schieflage hält er nicht 100% dicht.
