I now have three pair. The fit is excellent. Since Drew makes orthopedic shoes the toe box on this sneaker provides great width and height. It takes about a few hours of walking to break them in; flexing the insole near where the ball of the foot is located speeds the breakin. I wore this pair for 2+ miles a couple days after receiving them. Drew provides a two-part insole to adjust the amount of cushioning. They also affect the height of the toe box. These provide very good support although as with most of my shoes I replace the insole with a Powerstep Protech Control Full Length Orthotics size: K - M14-14.5 orthotic. These shoes came with a good length shoe lace although it was black and white. To give the shoe a less sporty look I changed the laces to solid black laces OrthoStep Oval Athletic Black 48 inch Shoelaces 2 Pair Pack . These black leather shoes have a very soft leather outer and a lining that I find really comfortable. A note on the product picture! To me the picture almost looks more like gray than black. The shoes are definitely black!
