Waterproof, Leather-Specific Review: I will update this - ... So my timbs here have been through a lot. Ended up using a black stain. Long story short I was against painting them but screw it. The color is nice. Here is the reason for the 4 stars. #1 this paint lacks a good primer. As someone that's paints regularly I should either do a primer or the paint should be decent with bonding. This was tested on a surface that wasn't shoes. So it does contain some kind of primer. But I do feel like it's going to be the downfall of this product hence why I'm going to wait to give it a full either five stars or I'm going to give it less. It's also very low in quantity because if you care about streaks while painting you will have to thin this product and apply. The way I did it was I applied good liberal amount to coats sanded it with a 220 and then I hit it with a watered down version. But being brushed on and being a thick paint it's going to leave streaks. So that should be noted on there when painting yes if you're spraying you won't get streaks. I would prefer spray paint but because these timberlands have the plaid on top I was against it. I'm hoping the flexibility of this paint is good. Most of any acrylic paint is but this is a boot. Lastly I did add one more thing to this paint. I did spray a clear satin sheen on top of it. And this is because after sanding it I still couldn't get the streaks the way I wanted it so I had to match the sheen of the paint which is more of a eggshell. Nevertheless they came out really nice. I'm going to wait until tomorrow and then I'm going to shoot a leather protector on top of this so we'll see what happens wish me luck Review: Nice, full coverage and easy application - I have officially become a fan of Angelus paint!! It saved my DC Bombshell Wonder Woman cosplay boots that I made after I botched it with floral spray paint. The overspray left dark drippy streaks all down my boots, ruining the clean effect. The color Autumn Red is a deep crimson, the exact color I wanted. I had to do several coats to get the opacity I wanted and used a sponge applicator...worked like a charm! For reference, I think I did about 4 or 5 coats to achieve these results. This was OVER existing floral spray paint that I had applied previously. You may need to do more coats if your boots/shoes are completely white. I used vinyl tape to mask out the white areas and whatever seeped underneath, I fixed using Angelus Paint in Matte White. Dry time is relatively quick and I was able to fix my shoes in a few hours. Absolutely LOVE how my boots came out! A million happy stars.

Very disappointing
My 10 year old son wanted to paint a pair of shoes so bad. So he saved up and bought a pair of all white leather shoes. I bought the paint and finisher. We spent 2 days painting his shoes, waiting 24 hrs between each application. I did 2 layers of finisher to make sure it wouldn't crack. Today was the first day he wore them to school. I was anticipating a little scratching but not cracking and peeling where you can actually see the paint hanging off the shoe. He was so disappointed, as am i, on how these held up. Maybe if you are not a kid who's going to beer playing outside it might do better. But there was still paint coming completely off where the shoe naturally bends when you walk. The paint itself was easy to apply and clean up after use. A little bit will go a long way so that is a plus, as I'll have plenty to do touch ups with.

Good Color Match
Needed to repaint leather chair that was slowly cracking and peeling. Have used this product to repaint twice. Second time, sanded gently to make sure remnant of previous paint was completely removed before repainting . Hopefully, will last longer.
