This 8x8 Access Panel is a fantastic product. The plastic material is durable and the white finish looks clean and professional. The door opens smoothly, providing easy access, and the size was just right for the opening we needed to cover Installation was straightforward, and it fits perfectly. Looks nice. It was a good solution to my open drywall hole. Easy to fit as needed-I had to turn so it opened to the left and I used a little E6000 glue to help secure it.

Item is made of thin plastic, but I was able to install it without much trouble. it does the job it is intended for. However, be carefull , the 6.5 x 6.5 maximum hole requirement should probably be reduced to a more realistic 6 x 6 as the original requirement puts the screws very close to the hole's edges.

This was exactly what I needed for an access panel in my garage. I use it and it works well, but the plastic is thin and it does worry me a bit that it could break if I needed access to it frequently. Despite this, it has held up after about a year of extremely infrequent use, so it fit my needs well. I wish there was a version with a bit stronger materials so it was less flimsy.

Fit perfectly and really hid the main pipe well.

Unbelievably simple and good. So easy to to fix the hole in the ceiling without compromising functionality. 5 minutes and done. Just perfect.

I used 2 of these. One was to cover a gas shut off valve for fireplace and second one covers a drain clean out in a wall. Both need to be easily accessible in case of emergencies, but I didn’t want to just leave holes in the wall. Only other types of covers I’ve seen at the big box hardware stores are either panels that needs to be screwed in place (which would take too long to remove in an emergency) or plates held in place by magnets which look nice but are too costly for the given application. The swing open door is a little flimsy and can come off fairly easily but frankly I don’t ever expect to be using it regularly. It’s only ever going to get used in case of emergency (hopefully never!). If you’ve going to place it in a situation where it’s going to be swung open regularly, you might get frustrated with this one, you may need something with a sturdier hinge
