Triple Trolley Folding Handle Dolly/Cart/Platform Truck with wheels, 500 lbs Capacity, for Moving/Warehouse/Office

I have an old timer who recommended this cart for HVAC service work. He's had his for 25 years or more. So I bought the Amazon "used in good condition" version to save little bit of money. I've typically had good luck with this. The cart itself is in normal shape. Nothing to note. BUT someone returned this after removing 2 of the 4 castor bushings. Making it worthless. I decided to just fix it instead of this cart finding its way into the landfill. Where do I send the invoice Amazon?... Jk. I'm glad I have a local wheel shop of all things here to give me the bushings for the fair trade of a gift card to a teriyaki restaurant that was slowly deteriorating in my wallet. I was originally irritated with this experience. But now I see it as pretty entertaining. Between dealing with a local dealer and writing this review , it's been fun...Take it from Robbie, He’s been in hvac for 100+ years, there’s nothing he hasn’t seen on the job, he’s impressed by little to none except this rubber maid cart, he used to babysit the guy who invented HVAC. Is it a good cart? I think I can trust it for now. Until DeWalt can make something mildly competitive. I did modify it to be able to extend and hold two 24x24 boxes. Robbie uses his 6' ladder for the same purpose but my personality won't let things be OEM, I just have to modify and it personalize it. I will be installing bigger wheels eventually as these carts have mounting options for the stab in wheels with a shaft and bushing (provided) or a 4-bolt pattern plate style. These wheels are fine for smoother surfaces like concrete or tile and some smoother asphalt but some asphalt makes the cart bounce so much that things need to be tied on, thinking about a bungee modification next to keep the handle stowed/ cargo retention.

Great cart! Easy to assemble, durable, light weight, and the perfect size! It folds down and is portable! A must have for any event planner who frequently has a lot of items to move!

We live in a high rise and use this cart almost every day. It is so well made we can put a lot of weight on it and it moves. It is very sturdy and the handle easily folds up and snaps in place for easy storing. This saves us having to go down to the lobby to borrow a cart now that we have one of our own. This is an additional one we bought. The first one is 26 years old and works like new. We just keep this one in another place.

Overall, I would give it a 4.5 This is what I've been looking for. I wanted a nice trolley platform that folds down and big enough to carry my photography equipment. I've looked at the Magna platform but I felt like I needed more. This Rubbermaid 4400 is solid. The platform is made of a resin and it is rock solid. It won't bend. It's heavy but it is still easy to transport. The thing I love about this trolley instead of Magna is that it is more comfortable to push/pull. In the upright position, the bars are slightly angled and it feels like you're pushing a shopping cart. Very comfortable. Sometimes I can't push so I want to pull, and having the ability to "unhook" the bars and pull makes it comfortable. Recommendation: Since you have to hammer on the casters, there are 6 slots at the bottom of the platform. 1 set in the back(near the bars) and 2 sets in the front (the farther end of the platform from the bars). One set at the front allows you to hammer in the casters so it doesn't move. So the wheels are always straight. I would recommend doing this because when you have all four wheels capable of turning all over the place, it is hard to keep the trolley straight. Particularly if you are pulling with one hand. By having the front two wheels straight, the front of the platform wouldn't be swaying side to side when you're pulling the trolley. Another recommendation is to buy hooked bungee cords. You can get a pair of adjustable ones for a few dollars. I then bought a big heavy duty tote. I throw stuff in the tote then use the hook bungee cords around the tote to the platform with anything else I need to carry on top (tripods). Overall, this product is recommended. Rubbermaid also have a 500lbs one which I should have probably considered.

I HIGHLY recommend this flat cart. It handles great on the gravel driveway, on dry grass, as well as concrete. It is lightweight, only 20 lbs, so I can easily lift it into, and out of, the back of the truck by myself. I use this everyday in my breeding program for Australian Shepherds to move 35 lb bags of dog food. It will easily handle 3-4 at a time. And I use it to move and haul other large heavy or multiple items daily here at Fifteen Acre Farms. I also use this to transport puppies and crates to check in at the airport as I have to park in short term parking then hike what seems like 1/2 a mile to the ticket counter for check in with 30 lbs of puppy, crate, paperwork, & all of the essentials for air travel. This flat cart is extremely durable. The wheels are great quality and it's quite easy to steer. It really makes life easier.

I bought this model primarily because it does not have a lower bar across the handle which limits the length of the item transported. Other carts I've had did have a bar and they proved useless for longer items. Yesterday I successfully moved a heavy 42" plasma TV (with help lifting it on and off the cart) and I was impressed by how accurately the cart moved with the weight. Unlike other similar carts I've had over the years, this cart moved and turned exactly where I directed it through several condo corridors, two parking garages, and hallways into a bedroom. The surface (carpet, wood, and concrete) made no difference at all. It went where I directed and turns were very accurate. The handle stayed perfectly locked into place. Other nice aspects of the cart are that the handle locks into place securely when folded down for storage and there are side indents that form handles that allow it to be carried easily in one hand when not in use. I did not find it difficult to put the wheels on. I simply used a mallet to insert the white plugs first and then used the mallet to push the wheels into the plugs. That took less than 2 minutes. As someone mentioned, the surface of the cart is a bit slick so I did take the precaution of using a bungee cord to secure the television. Primarily, I am most pleased by how easy it is to direct the cart exactly where I wanted it to go. I've had carts that wouldn't go straight or made turns difficult or even tipped. This cart meets my needs perfectly and will get a lot of use.

Great item, not to heavy stores wonderful for a working musician.

I was hesitant to pay $100 for a cart but this one is worth every cent. I moved into a new place and really needed a reliable, sturdy cart to help with the heavy loads -- this is it! It was a little tedious shoving the wheels in the sockets when it first arrived (I had to get a hammer out) but once in, the trolley has worked perfectly. I've navigated seamlessly through narrow hallways, doors, up and down the street, in circles (!) and it never fails. It's easy to switch "modes" but sometimes my fingers get pinched if I'm not careful. That's all though, this trolley works great.

Did not come with bolts. Can not return. Do not buy

Lots of area and very sturdy. Installation is easy just requiring you to screw the wheels into the base.

Great Product would highly recommend. Only the platform is bit slippery.

There were no surprises. The unit appears sturdy and well designed.

We are missing parts and won’t let me return - terrible, do not buy this product!
