Too much is too sweet. I also like to mix the two together. I find that if I use them in regular water instead of sparkling that I actually use less syrup per glass. That's definitely a good thing when you consider that the recent changes in the formulation of the SodaStream products has made them more expensive to use. These new bottles are smaller and the syrup is less concentrated..... shame on you SodaStream!
