I have a restoration business at my home shop and there is very little that I do not restore. In the cleanup and prep stage of most restorations, there is sanding required. These 2” sanding discs mounted on an arbor in a die grinder does the trick. I use many many many of these discs. On rusty metal, nothing works better for a fast cleanup. I use 80 grit discs for really rusty items or when I need to remove some metal too. And for a smoother, more finished surface, I use 120 grit. Then on big flatter surfaces, to produce a really finished look, I use a dual action (DA) sander with fine sanding discs like 180 grit or finer. So, yes I definitely recommend these discs. I’ve used them for years.

Works good for the money

Disks work very well, I just should have ordered more of them. I used the on macrocarpa, a fairly soft wood. But you still need always more sanding to get it looking good.

These are adequate for the price but wear out quickly. Paper backing is not very strong and the abrasive separates easily, especially at the edges. I will buy a better quality product next time.

For the price I thought the sanding disk were a great value. The quality is better than I expected. I will order more when these are almost gone.

At 80 grit these are my starting level, I use these with pads in the drill. great at removing markd and doing the last of the shaping.
