I decided to go ahead and try it for myself. I bought this for my daughter's dance competitions thinking I'd probably be tossing it into the trash, but it's a great product and wears very well. There is a VERY SLIGHT odor but you literally have to stick your face down into the compact, and then it wasn't a horribly offensive odor - it just smells like make up to me. Both my mom and I have already used it. I used a peachy colored eyeshadow yesterday. It had to be packed on for the color to show. The pigment isn't the highest of quality if it has to be packed on but it's still a deal. The eyeshadow lasted whicy was a great surprise. I couldn't find these kind of colors in a regular convenience store and if I were to find them anywhere where I live, they would be pricey.
