Great clock. After having a Homedics clock for 15 years, the projector light finally gave out. I searched for a new one and came across the newer model. This one has a digital display for the radio vs my previous one, rotating the channel for radio. This one looks more modern and I actually like it. It does its job. Only thing is that the projector light is bright. But I will find a way to dim it with something. Got it for that reason but this light is bright. Radio signal is good too. Haven't tried the alarm but the sounds I love. Time setting was easy. It's also not too heavy. Easy to use. Projector light on and off is located on the bottom back of the clock. You can also dim the clock light or turn it off completely. I couldn't do that with my previous one. I had to use a cloth to cover the time since I had the time projected on the ceiling. Happy with the purchase and doesn't look cheaply made but light in weight.

I had a Phillips sound machine for 15+ years that was an insomniac dream. I have several devices that are adequate. This one is almost as good as the one that finally died. I have trouble getting to sleep and staying asleep. I ruminate, and I hear EVERY LITTLE SOUND that can wake you up. Pros: you can dim the display to very dark. (Light is the enemy). It is easy to set time, alarm. Relatively small footprint. Cons: if you adjust anything, dim lighting disappears. So then you are in the dark, annoying your husband, to get the setting you thought you had. More of a problem than you would think. After many weeks, I am upgrading my review to 5 stars. I added tape to the sound button to that I could locate it in the dark. Learned that I had to set the brightness to dark BEFORE I set alarm, all is good. Leaned that I could hit the volume to turn off the alarm. Still not quite a 5, but a 4.8. And definitely better than anything else on the market, I am purchasing another for our vacation home.

The light of the clock is very bright. Even the lowest setting is way too bright. So I have to turn it off but then you cant see what time it is at night. The rest of the clock is good & easy to use.

I’ve been on the hunt for a noise machine for my insomniac mom and this is it!! The projection is clear, the buttons work well and it feels well made and the instructions are clear. You can play the sounds all night or set a timer and the sounds are so clear, crisp, and realistic. This has an actual alarm sound(beeping) to wake you up with an increasing volume and the screen has brightness levels as well. It’s everything we’ve been looking for. Also has a backup battery so if the power goes out it will still work as long as your power is back on when your alarm is set. Disclaimer the alarm will not sound if the power is out at the time your alarm is set to go off and will not sound once turned back on if the alarm window has passed while the power was off. But when the power turns back on the time is still correct and the alarms are still set.

This is a neat little dual purpose clock. I absolutely love all of the features: clock, radio, alarm, sounds, projection. My kids also love the choices of sounds and love falling asleep to "campfire" at night. The sound quality for radio and sounds is great in my opinion. It's easy to use so I'm not sure why some say it's difficult, I didn't even have to read the manual it came with and figured out all the features easily, as did my elementary school aged kids. Like many reviews said, the display is very bright, like a nightlight and especially if you use the projection (can be switched on or off). For me this is not a problem because I use it in the kids room and they like a nightlight. If this was in my room, it would be a problem because it's just too bright. Yes, you can adjust the brightness, but then you can barley read the time. Which leads me to my biggest issue with the clock. Mine has a white backlight and the time is written in skinny black numbers. I have a hard time reading it from across the room and end up having to walk up to it to make out the time. The projection is easier to read for me because it projects in blue thicker numbers.. you can also adjust the focus. However, with regards to the projection, you can not switch the orientation, so the kids see the numbers upside down if projected onto the ceiling.

This clock replaced a homedic i have had for over 20 years. it is designed a little different but function the same. I like this one. It functions the same as the old and is bright at night. the rtadio work well and the white noise is clear i would purchase again if I was looking for another. solid and well built good quality.

My daughter loved this alarm clock because of the sounds and projector, but after about a year it sounded like it was trying to summon the devil so I got rid of it and bought a different brand. However, she really wanted to try it again so I bought another one. The next one was right from the gate had issues with the speaker.

I thought having a projector on an alarm clock was completely ridiculous. We purchased this for the white noise feature (which works very well). However, the projector, which shines the time on the wall, has really benefited my sleep. I realize that when I woke up very early in the morning, I used to have to wake my phone up to see what time it was. This I think woke me up more completely, and I had trouble getting back to sleep. Now I blearily crack an eye, see it's too early to wake up, and go right back to sleep. The projector has really helped my morning insomnia. We are entirely happy with this purchase.

Los números son de buen tamaño, ideal para poder ver la hora sin problemas. El cordón de la antena debe de estar extendido y bien colocado para que se escuchen en forma adecuada las estaciones de radio. Los sonidos de la naturaleza son bastante relajantes y se escuchan muy nítidos. El proyector de la pantalla no es muy útil.

Muy buena opción. La proyección de la hora en la pared es práctica y la luz no molesta en absoluto para dormir. Los sonidos son muy agradables y el hecho de que sea eléctrico resulta muy conveniente. No hay que estar al pendiente de las pilas. Estoy muy satisfecha con la compra

If I wake up in the night (which I do often) just one look at the ceiling tells me the time. Love this projection clock. It's white, it's tidy and very classy.

I had the older model Homedics alarm clock that looks like a UFO and needed to replace it, the projector was out. Older one looked a little nice visually but in general I was very happy to find another Homedics with as many options ! Only problem I have with this one is the projector is super bright with no dimming options.
