This is a very good well made gate easy to build and very strong comes with everything you need and for extra safety you can screw to wall it has a lock on the top and bottom on this occasion we bought this because we didn’t want are dog to be free at night and jumping on are bed or to put her in a cage so now we have the gate in are en suite with a very large bed and she is more than happy would definitely recommend

Gate only opens one way. There is no reason at all for this. The instructions imply it opens both ways and there is even the little tabs on either side of the gate at the bottom, that you can flick one side down to prevent the gate opening one way or the other - which there is no need for on a gate that only opens one way anyway! The lock system works with a 'cup' like mechanism that when locked, prevents the gate opening. One side of the cup longer that the other, meaning that even when pulled back and 'unlocked' the gate will not open one way. We found this really annoying so cut off and filed the long side of the cup to match the other, shorter side. This was easy enough and looks like it was always meant to be that way - biggest complaint is why isn't it that way already? No reason to have one side longer. Aside from that, reasonable quality gate for a good price. The main reason for my purchase is that it can be opened silently - so it can be used on the door of my child's room and used without waking them.

Excellent even in difficult spaces. Strong and barrier enough to put my labrador 7month old puppy,to stay on the 1 side she is supose to. Aftet chewing up my stair carpet,i bought this gate. Lock is easy and even though she tryed to get through could not. The door is easy and wide enough for a 6ft 1inch 23stone man to pass through eadily

We bought this for our new puppy to stop him climbing the stairs our are narrow but its easy to fit and adjustment is fantastic. Its plenty high enough ,very sturdy ,easy to open and keeps him safe.

Does the job but i thought may be extendable, but it is reliant on the screw bits in the end, if the gap is between the two “extra size” panels, that extend the gate to the extra width. This said, I am only using to keep dogs from going upstairs. I wouldn’t put this at the top of the stairs if I had a toddler as I don't feel it is sturdy enough and it tends to flex as the additional bits (that extend it) are just slotted in. So for keeping toddlers/ dogs out where they are not going to push against it = does the job, bit weak but it does it. Keeping toddler safe where they could fall = I wouldn’t, so avoid as It’s not sturdy enough.

Easy to put together, well made and doesn't cost you an arm or leg

Neither standard or extended size fits our stairs (one too small, one too big) to keep to their recommended bolt extension lengths. More importantly, it’s described as a pressure mounted gate, so should be suitable for renters who can’t add wall fixings - however, it comes with screw in wall cups and has a warning that says “NEVER USE WITHOUT WALL CUPS”, so is misleading in that description. So the only way we can use the gate would be in breach of two safety warnings and fairly wobbly. Waste of money for us.

I like it as it’s pretty solid and it looks nice as it blended in with the place. I use it to prevent my dogs from going into the lift.

Ordené esta reja para mi bebé y tenía mis reservas ya que leí malas reseñas pero me atrevo a decir que no hagan caso a las malas reseñas ya que cumplió con mis expectativas, llegó en perfecto estado empaquetada, la reja mide lo que dice en la descripción (49”) incluyendo extensiones y se ajustó perfecto a mi espacio de 48.5”/123cm, es de metal, fácil de instalar y queda muy rígida y estable, siempre y cuando LEAS Y SIGAS las instrucciones y la instalen correctamente; vi malas reseñas en cuanto a que es difícil de instalar o que la puerta no cerraba por quedar una abertura grande en la puertita pero literalmente viene con VARIOS letreros en la reja, caja e instrucciones que dicen que la abertura NO ES UN DEFECTO y se va cerrando conforme vayas ajustando la reja presionando con la pared, solo tienes que leer y seguir las instrucciones y será fácil instalarla y quedará segura. Además de la cerradura cuenta con un seguro extra para que no sea fácil que un niño la abra Contras: lo único malo es que la puerta es pequeña y no puedo pasar la carreola por ahí pero eso es porque yo paseo a mi bebé dentro de mi casa, además de que es para dejarse instalada en un solo lugar porque no es práctico estarla quitando y poniendo, pero aún así 10 de 10!!

It was easy to assemble and came with all needed screws. Fit my bedroom doorway and easy to work. Alignment and sturdiness seems great in the door frame. Great closure and baby can still see out. Worth the money for safety.

It’s great and sturdy. Going strong even after all the force applied on it by a toddler. Easy to open and close added layer for security(double lock) make it useable for longer period of time
