North African Spice Blend

The ingredients listed in the 'Ingredients' section read as follows: Orange Peel, Cumin, Garlic Powder, Cane Sugar, Cinnamon, Allspice, Paprika, Salt, Black Pepper, Turmeric, Cayenne Powder. When I recieved the item, the ingredients on the bottle are listed as: other spices, sugar, garlic, orange peel, smoked paprika, salt, Chilis. What are 'other' spices?? What happened to the Cumin, Allspice, Tumeric, Black Pepper? Which ingredients are correct... The web page or what's on the bottle? Could they be the 'other 'spices?' I would send it back, but it's not worth it. Hoping Smoking Toques Spice credits my account and changes the ingredients on the web page to correctly reflect what's in the bottle. As an aside, there is a disclaimer on the website absolving them of any liability if you don't get the ingredients posted, well my interpretation anyway. I buy food items based on the ingredients that I read on the website. This could be life threatening if it's not exact. Seriously.

Not as flavorful as the Jamaican seasoning of the same brand. But it could be my taste buds ? Still a very good seasoning.

I looked and looked everywhere and finally broke down and bought it online. It was the exact spice blend i was looking for and it made perfect coconut african chicken!

Folks, I placed this spice on a couple of thick chops as a rub (lightly blended with apple juice and preserves). They were a big hit, and I would recommend the spice to anyone wanting to transform meats into interesting international delights. Very creative!

I have used this spice with chicken, beef and pork and each and every time, my husband loves it so much, he asks for seconds. I've used it two and three times a week for the first couple of weeks after getting it, which means it's addictive. Very pleased with this find! I'll be trying the other Smoking Toque spices soon too.
