50 Lb Blue Label is exactly .660 mm per the label on the 25 yd spool. On the 80 Lb Blue Label the diameter is exactly .810 mm per the label on the 25 yd spool

can it be used as main line while trolling with downriger? I know it’s pricey but does it worth to do that?

I never used it as the main line or even thought of it. You're right its expensive. I catch my share of bottom dwellers jigging using it as a 8' leader connecting Seaguar 20-30# test fluorocarbon to 50# braid using the Crazy Alberto Knot (see youtube). Knot, if tied correctly has never failed/broken - the floro has. Good luck ...
