You might need a frame¹ if this is your first time. Once a year our '10 Jeep GC WK gets a new filter. These fit perfectly and perform admirably. You should see the &#%*@! that they keep out of the cabin air system. Certainly as valuable to our breathing health as seatbelts, it's hard to imagine that they aren't required OEM equipment on ALL passenger vehicles! At least Chrysler put in the opening so all you need the first time is a frame and filter to finish the job (and only a filter after that). Sure it doesn't stop skunk so don't run over them, eh! We live out in farm and horse country and have noticed a significant lowering of outside smells inside the Jeep as we pass by stockyards. Another reason I use a cabin filter and kit is because it extends the life of the HVAC blending doors and protects them for dust and bug damage.
