I borrowed a buddies HF unit and the first time I use it broke it. I bought this for myself as I need to make a few knockouts for my shop project. Works great, very sturdy and comes with a socket to boot. Fantastic deal - used more than a few times from 3/4 to 2 in without issue. Take your time and do it right with this unit.

Worked like a charm. The quality seems to be good so far. I would reccomend these punches to a friend. Update: I have had a chance to use the punches on numerous occasions and they are holding up nicely. I especially like the plug splitting feature. I've use punches that you had to dig the plug out of the die after each hole. The plug splitting feature makes removal a non issue the two halves fall right out, no problem. The quality of the material and the heat treating is excellent. after several uses the punches are still sharp and show very little signs of use. GREAT PRODUCT!

I used this to make a bunch of 3/4" and 2" holes in wire tray for a solar installation. It went pretty well but I wished that I had either a stubby electric impact wrench or the hydraulic version. If I were a professional I'd buy the hydraulic. The time and effort it takes to turn a wrench on this tool is significant. It works well and if you have time to spare you'll save a ton of money over hydraulic. I put a conduit bender on the end of my ratchet about half way through as a cheater bar. You need quite a bit of force to finish it off. I used it for about 12 2" holes 2 1.5" holes, and 2 3/4" holes. The 3/4" were really easy, the 1.5 I did with a ratchet alone, but 2" is right at the limit of what you can realistically do by hand I think. And that's only if you have room for a cheater bar. For infrequent use, this is the tool to get, especially if you can use an impact wrench. For regular use though, step up to hydraulic.

like: so far, they've worked fine - I'm a "seldom need user" so they definitely are not getting heavy duty use and I'm very careful with them less than 1/2 the cost of GREENLEE KNOCKOUTS They seem decently well made. (better than expected) dislikes: none really, I do kind of wish they had enclosed some kind of handle for the sockets (but that's a relatively minor inconvenience) I'm actually very happy with the purchase so far... (and I've been able to stop borrowing my neighbors GREENLEE KNOCKOUT set)

I have beat this set up for a year with no issues. Lasted longer than my green Lee set that was 3x the cost. I will buy again when needed.

The large bolt is missing. I’ve used other TEMCo products & they were great. I ordered this set because delivery was fast. It arrived on time , but the large bolt is missing. TEMCO has not answered calls or emails yesterday& today. I’m the future , it s easier just to re order & send back to Amazon. It took a few days. but TEMCO replace the missing bolt. So far , these cut well.

My Klein set was stolen and this time around I am watching my spending so I bought this one based on the reviews and the price was something I could not ignore. I thought it was going to be good enough. Yet, I am glad I got it and did not spend more $. I had a good one and this one is nothing different. It is as solid, sharp and well made as any other two times its price. It came greased in some kind of lithium and as black as my mother's cast iron oven. I especially like the locks on the case, which is a nice blue like my Smith & Wesson, ha!
