An excellent product!
A great idea for privacy and stopping harmful UV rays on the carpet. I contacted the company for some help and no-one could have been more helpful. Thank you so much!

Great stuff this is, easy to use and does what it says on the sheet.

works and not too dark
This works very well. You need to use a lot of water, spraying both the window and the film when you apply it. It's not too dark (other samples we got from elsewhere were much darker) and you can look out of it without a problem. It does provide privacy and the windows are not as mirror like as you expect from the outside. We liked it enough to buy it a second time for more windows. It is easier if two people apply it on larger windows. A tradesman damaged the film on one window and it's relatively easy to peal off and put on a new piece.

Does the Job
Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Fairly straight forward to put up, but if you have a large window to cover, a second person to help definitely makes things easier. Not too dark once fitted, still lets sufficient light into the room without letting too much heat in. Has noticeably reduced the temperature in the room it's used in.UPDATE 19/7/2022 Writing an update during the UK's hottest ever heatwave. This producy has proven itself to be a godsend, it absolutely reduces the heat coming in through the window by a significant amount, I have too rooms facing the same direction and one has the tint on while the other doesn't. The room without the tint is a lot hotter, you can feel the heat radiating from the window area when just standing near them. The tinted windows still get hot, but the amount of heat radiating from them is considerably less. Absolutely recommended if you have windows that face the sun all day.

Really difficult to apply without a bubble or wrinkle !
I have purchased and applied these on 8 windows so far and they are a real pain to apply. First problem is they have to be handle with extreme care or they will wrinkle or blemish and it will almost impossible to get rid of the marks. Next it is difficult to separate the clear backing film from the foil, the suggested method of using adhesive tape id fiddly and doesn't always work. When applying to the window you have to spray BOTH the window AND the sticky side of the foil otherwise the foil will stick to itself. The foil shows the slightest bubble and it is almost impossible to apply smoothly without a crease or bubble. You need a really sharp blade to trim the foil on the window frame. I used a credit card and held the blade against it while moving the card along the edge of the window frame. Out of the 8 windows I only succeeded in getting 1 window without bubble or creases or blemishes.

Overall good product, just take the time to learn how to fit it
The people complaining about this product must not be familiar with how you apply this. I was sceptical because of other reviews but it took me 10 minutes to complete from start to finish. Nothing wrong with the film at all. I live on a main road and was getting tired keeping the blinds closed all the time to stop people looking in when they are waiting at the traffic lights. And judging by how many people I have seen picking their nose today they can no longer see in during the day!! Overall good product, just take the time to learn how to fit it.

AWFUL from start to finish!
TOTAL waste of money. I am no "novice" to window screening, as have it all over the house.... so am well aware of the process involved to fit it.This stuff is useless. No "proper" backing paper as usual, but a "backing film" - which as soon as is removed ensures the actual film sticks to itself completely & becomes impossible to use properly. After fighting with it for over an hour I now have a window that looks like it has had a brick thrown at it with the amount of creases in the film itself.Fit for the bin basically & can't return as has been cut to size & effectively "used".....

Good product that’s easy to install
I bought this as I have a lot of neighbours facing me. I’ve started by adding it to my room and found it easy to install. I did get it backwards to start off with (instructions could be clearer) but manage to save it and get it on the right way. There are a few bubbles and soapy/glue marks but all in all a quality product. I will update if t starts to peel or other problems arise. I’m happy that me, a diy novice, was able to install alone. I do have two very large windows I plan to use this type of film on but will get help to install as I can is it being tricky with just one person for a large window. So, for total daytime privacy and ease of use - I recommend this product. Minus one star for instructions and makes/ bubbles
