The amount of fur in my home is crazy and I was tired of all the fur on my clothing. Even after giving the machine a thorough wipe down after washing blankets and towels the fur was still ending up in my clothes. I've been using 12 of these in each load, they don't work miracles, but I am impressed with how much they grab. I do not recommend these balls at all. These didn’t work for me. In fact they’ve basically ruined most of my clothes by imbedding fine white wool threads on most knits and cottons. Years ago I had used similar ones that showed up after a load of laundry with hair and lint happily attached but this batch come out looking clean every time, while residue from a previous purchase of wool balls stick stubbornly to all my clothes. I don’t use them anymore.
