(walkのページ) When you walk, you move along by putting on foot in front of the other. You can use these words to talk about different ways of walking. If you "stride", you walk with long step. If you "march", you walk like a soldier with regular steps. If you "tiptoe", you walk on your toes very quickly or carefully. If you "creep" somewhere, you walk very slowly and quietly so no one will hear you. If you "limp", you walk with difficulty because there is something wrong with your leg or foot. If you "stagger", you walk in unsteady way as if you are just about to fall.
