Prep of surface of car prior to ceramic coating. As you can see from the finish, the prep spray ensured no residue and as a result ultra shiny end result post ceramic coating. Note that the paint was fully clay bar’ed prior to final clean with CMX spray

I use this with a clay bar as a prep for self application (in order words, my amateur application) of Adams Graphene Ceramic and it worked well. This Mothers Surface Prep was used on a vehicle which I typically keep well waxed and always has "speed shine" applied. My process involved spraying on the Mother's Surface Prep, "squeegeeing" it off with a clay bar. Then I misted it again with the Mother's and wiped it clean with a microfiber. It really did a good job of removing all wax, silicone and debris. It provided a clean surface to apply the Graphene Ceramic coating. One bottle was more than adequate to prep my Colorado pickup and I have plenty left over. Mothers is good stuff and although I chose the Adams for my ceramic coat, I'm sure a Mothers product would be similar in shine and ease of application.

Works great to remove oils or residue before doing a compound. Also works great to remove polish residue before applying a sealant or wax.

I used this to prep my car for ceramic coating. This was easy to use/apply. It worked as expected. I did use a bit more than I expected, but the price wasn't bad. I would buy this product again.
