This rechargeable book like is compact, made of good quality, lite and bright. It suits its purpose. I often have my grandkids napping with me at night, but still have work I need to do on the computer. I can clip it on to my screen and set it to the brightness level that I need for the particular project I am working on. The light is compact, and sturdy therefore it doesn't disrupt My grandkids. It lights up the area where I am working. It has a versatility of lights, warm, cool and day light. And also a versatility of brightness. If your looking for a good reading/work light...I recommend this one for you.

BOTTOM LINE: 1. I highly recommend these lights. 2. The 3 different light temperature colors make them useful any time of the day. 3. Each color has 3 light levels. It's dimmable! This equals 9 different lighting combinations. 4. The portable nature and clip has me using these in numerous ways. USAGE: I clip this light to my desk, to illuminate the floor at night so my little black doggie doesn't get stepped on when we get up. I can angle it any way I need to, and spread the light because of the way the two lights open up like wings. LIKES: - I use these everywhere! - I have a second one that I take with me at night. I can clip it on whatever is close by so I don't wake anyone else up. - It's got 3 levels of light! I can make it bright to see, or dim, just enough to not be in the dark. - It has 3 color temperatures, or shades of light, from warm amber to bright white. - I take a lot of pictures, and using these allows me to get just the right lighting for pictures. DISLIKES: - The older version is not USB-C, so I have to fumble getting the charging cable in. The 2nd one I bought has been upgraded to USB-C. THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW: I charge these every morning. They are so small and light, that I can get about 10 hours on the medium intensity setting. Once the lithium batteries near the end of their charging lifetime, I will replace the unit. I plan to keep a minimum of two of these operational at all times. The bright white color temperature will awaken someone if you turn it on near them. By using the warm amber color, I don't have this problem. UPDATES: None at this time. I will update this review with any changes or important additions should any arise.

I got two of these one for me and one for my husband. we both love them. They are light weight, clip on the book securely. Easy on hard backs, but on paperback just clip a bunch of pages. The adjustable light settings allow you to choose your comfort level of brightness. The included cable plugs into ordinary USB, it recharges quickly. Charges quickly. It is designed to be able to sit nicely on its battery/clib base like a little mini lamp.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND - super flexible in how they can be used, very reliable, very adjustable, holding up really well so far, NO complaints. PRO'S - 1) 3 light colors - able to chose warm, cool or blended light color, 2) Able to choose 5 levels of light intensity (make that 10, if you consider that with the blended color BOTH warm and cool LED's light up (so your options include level 1 to 5 with either one or both sets of LED's active), 3) 2 headed light bars that can be moved fully together, fully apart, or any angle in between for more focused or wide-spread light, 4) Nicely flexible neck that stays-where-you-put-it, 5) Re-chargeable battery pack with USB-C cord, 6) Clamps on things like pencil cups or other desk top edges just as easily as a book cover, so it can be used to light up dark corners of desks or work tables (I do use 2 of these units in this way). CON's - A) Minor con, the selector switch is located at the base of the neck - older model had switches out where the light is. This is a minor con, in that you have to feel around a bit for the switch, more so than with older model, but totally not a big deal.

This light is awesome! I am still using it 4/2025 and I bought it in 10/2022 so that tells you that it lasts in durability and the battery hasn’t pooped put on me! I use it 6 out of 7 days of the week for at least an hour and I charge it about once a week, at the most. It’s simple to turn on and off and the double head is exactly why I bought it! It’s even great when taking notes because you can bend it every which way possible. :-) The only downside is a design flaw for people that travel. I’ve taken it from California to New York to Florida and the only really frustrating aspect is the power button. It’s continuously getting turned on in whatever bag I have it in. I, most recently, picked up a makeup bag that was thicker and firmer than usual and that has worked so far. The softer bags would still allow the button to be pushed. They need to add a lock or change the design so the neck and/or head cover it when traveling. I recommend this light to anyone that needs it at home and a case for anyone that travels! I’ll definitely buy one again-if I ever need to.

Really nice! Great size. Well made. Flexible stalk on light can easily be repositioned and holds its position. I like that the light itself comes in 2 pieces and can be split in half or pushed together. I would definitely buy another Vekkia 14 LED Book Light. This would make a great gift, too!

Love this book light and the carrying case is fantastic. It has everything you need to keep it charged in one little case. Great product.

Honestly my expectations were low when I made this purchase, but I needed a book light and this one seemed to be a good value for the features it claimed. I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality so far. It is sturdy, easy to use, and is holding up well at this point. It has three distinctly different shades, and each has three brightness settings, all of which are controlled by a long or short click of the power button. It can clip onto a book or lap desk easily but is also functional as a freestanding light, which I consider a bonus feature. The clip is exceptionally strong, so this could be an issue for some users (e.g., it is more like a binder clip and less like a chip clip). In fact, with the pressure of the clip, I was a little concerned that it might leave indentations in the back cover of a book I was reading, but it did not. Its design is such that it stayed put without doing damage to the book, further evidence of its good quality. It is fully adjustable and seems to offer an ideal height above the working surface. It needs to be charged before use, but there is an indicator light to show when it reaches full charge. I have already gotten many hours from its initial charge without noticing any dimming. That said, I have not had it long enough yet to be able to vouch for its lifespan in full, but at this point, I would recommend this book light as a good value.

Ich liebe sie, sie is echt klasse und macht mir das lesen einfach und sehr angenehm! Sie hat 3 verschiedene Lichtfarben (warmweiss, LED und Gelb/orange) und 5 Helligkeit Stufen! Lässt sich super über das mitgelieferte USB Ladekabel schnell und unkompliziert aufladen. Sie hält sehr lange durch also wenn man es so will vllt 2 Wochen ca? Gut auf volle Leistung dann vllt nur 1 Woche! Es is eine absolute Empfehlung von mir als Sehbehinderte Mensch! Absolute KAUFEMPFEHLUNG

Ich habe mir die Lampe gekauft, da ich im Bett immer gerne noch lese und meinen Partner nicht mit einer großen Lampe stören möchte. Diese Lampe jetzt ist klein, lässt sich mit dem ausklappbaren Endteil der Klemme auch noch an dickeren Büchern befestigen (ohne dass man ständig die Lampe neu anklemmen muss) und beleuchtet durch die verstellbaren 2 Leuchten auch beide Buchseiten. Von der Helligkeit ist sie sehr gut und ausreichend: ich kann damit alles lesen und ich bin Brillenträgerin und habe da ansonsten doch schon leichte Schwierigkeiten. Die Ladezeit betrug ca. 2 Stunden, von der Dauer her kann ich noch nichts sagen, da ich die Lampe erst 2x benutzt habe und jeweils knapp 1 Stunde gelesen habe (bis jetzt muss noch nichts nachgeladen werden) Fazit: für mich als Viel-Leser mit Buchmuffel-Freund ideal im Bett oder vor dem Fernseher (ohne den Anderen zu stören) :-)

Well I got back into the habit of reading. Intend to read on my night shifts and being respectful to my coworker (who like lights dim) I’ve had to try and make it work. Whilst being on vacation at time I got into a nighttime ritual of bed time reading. Only problem was - unless I faced a certain way my bed table lamp didn’t accentuate the words enough to make out. So! I found this on Amazon. It is FANTASTIC. It lit it perfectly on the most modest light setting. I didn't even need to adjust the light (as it widens out if necessary). I would say it’s not heavy and suits well for a hard cover book. For a soft cover you may have to attach it to a hefty set of pages to balance it but lot a problem. On hard covers just at the back does it well. May get another for my aunt! Do recommend !
