Absolutely perfect performing locker
I now own 2 of these. Takes some time to install...don't rush! Always locks/unlocks immediately on a flick of the switch. Never had an ARB but these are cheaper and perform flawlessly on the trails. One quick thing to note...the o-ring for the bulkhead fitting was very hard to find in the packaging...it actually was wedged in the connector area of the switch. It's an unusual o-ring size so when you 1st unpack the parts look for it right away! I did finally find it, after I searched high and low for an alternative. Yukon Gear always delivers quality!

Great product
Works great so far. I haven't gotten the chance to really put this locker under some serious wheeling yet but it works for what I have done so far. DO NOT use the Yukon air compressor. They are junk. I will be getting an arb air compressor. The installation was difficult.

Great locker option
Great value for a front selectable locker vs an ARB. Easily installed if you have the knowledge. Fit perfectly in the axle housing. I knocked off one star because depending on your gear set, you may have to purchase bushings to account for smaller diameter ring gear bolts. They are sold separately. For the price they should be included.

It works
Instructions I got didn't give any instruction for electrical or rocker switch wiring. Fortunately, I also happened to have an ARB kit in my shop to compare to and ARB uses the same switch. Comparing the two kits, the ARB is a bit nicer in a couple details like having a 90 fitting for the diff and better instructions but the Yukon kit is fine and my locker works perfectly. I'm happy saving a couple hundred bucks with the Yukon so long as it lasts, which I can't say as I just installed it.

Item wasn't new? Open box return or something
The biggest problem is that this box was opened everything was open inside and re-paped I feel like there were some items missing I had to purchase a bulkhead fitting kit. This is something I didn't have to buy with my ARB but like I said it was already open so who knows what else was missing. Locker works great after buying a fitting I think this should have come with.

Fit my 2005 Jeep LJ Wrangler
I had a buddy install this for me whose done several and it all went together nicely from what he said. It locks the front axle in, I’ll update if needed. You’ll need to buy the bolt spacers if you have a TJ or LJ.

Climb anything!
Works as expected. Install was straight forward. I did notice it gets stuck for about 1 wheel revolution after disengaging. Suggestion, get some chromolly axles while you are at it.
