Unlike the GI SS canteen cups, this is round so it fits on my 3 prong stove without concern about it spilling. It's titanium so it's super light & strong. Because it has a tight fitting & vented lid, it allows me to enjoy freshly prepared foods on demand. The notched handle makes fire cooking safer & simpler. There's also a notch for your fingers in the collapsible handles, I thought that feature was some nice over engineering. I considered going with the larger sized unit, but this one was perfect. A Snow Peak Iso it boils it in 5 min 30 sec. The bale will stand up if you need it, making it easy to remove if/when the handles get hot, and the loop on the lid does the same, very handy for removal of the the lid. It's so light it's almost unnoticeable. Fits a small iso can inside of it easily. May buy a few more so each family member has one.
