Great & Easy Solution for Your Tub/Shower!
For yearsI have wanted a curved shower curtain rod for my tub/shower. I've experienced one in my son's guest bath and really enjoyed the extra space that it gives you in the shower. My 35 year old straight tension rod finally gave out so I started my Amazon search for a new one. Most rods that I found had to be permanently mounted (screwed in the tile) and I didn't want to do that for several reasons. Recently I found several available on Amazon that were tension mountable. The only downside was that the added extension depth was only about 6" and I thought that I wanted more than that, I decided to give one a try and I'm glad I did, I chose the Moen version based on their reputation in the plumbing hardware world. It was relatively easy to install. I did it myself but it would have been a little easier with help from one other person. It is sturdy and looks great. I would recommend this rod without reservation!

Solid, no drilling required, handles three towels well
We just installed a new tub that is lined with tile for our three kids. We wanted to be able to help them bathe so we didn't get glass doors. The curved shower rod was easy to install, looks classy, and can handle the weight of three thick Costco towels on it (and a plastic PVC liner) without any issues. One of the end caps (which serves to cover the hardware screws, and is mostly there as a cover/aesthetics) keeps coming loose but I am mostly satisfied with this purchase because it serves its purpose. We are using the Amazon plastic PVC clear liner and the white rings that came with it and they often get stuck when sliding back and forth along the bar where the male part of the rod goes into the female part of the rod. Not a huge deal ... we'll be using those metal double rolling shower curtain rings when the kids are older and we have a real curtain on the outside of the liner.

Easy Install
Installed this today by myself. It took about 15 minutes just because I had to take it down to put it plastic bit between the halves in place. It took me a few times to figure out the position of the end covers, but they snapped in easily once I got the orientation right. Definitely happy with my purchase

Sturdy
It was a bit heavy, so installing it alone was difficult, but I won’t ever need to buy another shower curtain rod for the rest of my life. It’s extremely sturdy.

Dimensions cited in product description are incorrect!
Read the dimensions! The product description is inaccurate - “ ADJUSTABLE CURTAIN ROD: Sized to securely fit 6 feet (72 inch) tub surrounds and standard 72 inch by 72 inch shower curtains”. It would help if the included the width in the name of the product. Between the 72” cited in the product description, and the fact that the model number was CSR2172, it seemed a sure bet that this was going to fit my 71” shower. Alas, the product is only 60” max!

It works perfectly. You, are the problem.
It helps to be a mechanically inclined person, but it is well built. It works perfectly. The curve makes my inside liner keep water inside. It looks good and likely won’t rust. The end cups will only snap in at the correct alignment with the inside plastic. Make sure to reverse the tightening knob all the way back first, before installing, to allow for maximum range to secure it. Curve out please. Not down. I ignored the negative video reviews because I saw a pattern, and I could see what they were doing wrong.

This is a good alternative to permanent mounting
Quite strong certainly much stronger than I thought it would be Glad I made the choice as I thought it might be flimsy but certainly isn't

Good purchase
As described in the ad. Looks good, works well, easy to install within a few minutes, quality seems good. Don’t forget to slide the little plastic piece into place where the 2 poles meet to allow your shower curtain to slide easily. This is my kids bathroom, so the tension is nice and tight to prevent them pulling down and breaking another one, and also gives them a few extra inches of elbow room.

Perfect DIY product!
Like some indicated, had some trouble snapping one of the covers. Instructions from Moen weren't the clearest but figured it out. The rubber Ring inside the covers needs to be properly aligned and the tension rod can't be at the Max otherwise it won't reach and won't snap. Got a great deal on it from Amazon warehouse probably because the person who purchased it before me gave up. Looks good, does what it is supposed to do. Holds firmly. The plastic gasket you need to place at the joint bridges the gap between the two rods perfectly so the shower curtain can slide smoothly. That little plastic ring is easy to overlook if you don't know what you are doing. Probably best to take your time, look at all the parts and be two to install it. Great deal, good product, provides the extra 6 inches inside the shower, adjustable, no need to drill the tiles, looks good, thumbs up! 👍

Nice curved tension rod
Nice curved adjustable tension shower curtain rod. Really simple to install without having to drill anything into the wall. The Rod uses tension to hang and is pretty sturdy once installed. The only two minor issues we had was: 1. The end covers are pretty large and bulky. Although they look nice and do a good job covering the part that attaches the rod to the wall (which is plastic and not very pretty) the shower curtain rings can’t really be pushed right up to the wall because it can’t fully get over the end cover. This leaves about a 2inch gap between curtain and wall on both ends when fully closed especially at the top (you can pull the curtain closer to the wall the further from the top you get. We didn’t really find this to be a major issue With water getting out but would feel better if the shower curtain could get slightly closer to the wall. 2. The rod is adjustable and the adjustment holes are in the middle of the rod so really visible when the curtain is open. Not sure if this is standard with all tension rods but would much prefer the adjustment to be off to either side. Either way still very happy with it and if those two things don’t bother you You will be happy with the purchase.
