WELL worth it... a must try brand!
If you are not familiar with this brand, you should at the very least give it a try with a few of your favorite herbs / spices. I find all of their products to be stellar, often significantly elevating a dish I have made countless times, simply by using Spice Islands seasonings instead of a lesser brand. It's a difference that has been noticed by my family, even when they had no idea what made the difference. When I can get that kind of improvement so easily, and the cost of using Spice Islands vs. another brand works out to only a small amount more per meal, then it's a no-brainer for me! Give it a try... I suspect you won't regret it!

Spice Island chili powder is an essential spice
My wife loves this Chile powder from Spice Islands. Her spice cabinet is full of various chile powders - Lime Chili powder, Chipotle powder, taco seasoning, Fajitas seasoning - but her signature chile falvored dish (a barbequed chicken fajitas) would not be complete with some Spice Island Chili powder. Of course, this chili powder is also used in the chili that she makes in the wintertime. I have not been able to find the Spice Island chili in local supermarkets, and I am thankful that Amazon carries it.

Good product
Purchased this and a number of spices/rubs when buying my smoker. Have not been disappointed when using this spice. Our grocery store did not have this item in powder form, so this was a great buy!

This is our favorite chili powder. We have tried many. Spice Island is not too hot and has a great combination of flavors.
