Biona Black Venus Rice Organic, 500g, Packaging may vary

This may be to some people's liking but not for me. Despite following the product instructions, I found the rice to be very chewy. If I am to be fair I think this is a complimentary rice which would go as a very small side portion with other ingredients. It is not a main meal rice - it would take forever to eat.

Bought on a Black Friday deal, what a bargain- I should have thought twice. Upon opening, there were all sorts of spiderweb things all over the rice, and I found bugs when washing it. Couldn’t eat the pack but can’t return since it’s out of the return window and I cannot see a way to complain. Shame.

My item was completely unusable as it was full of live weevils and maggots so the whole bag had to be thrown away

Arrived completely unsealed. Rice was falling out and is clearly compromised so cannot eat. Very disappointed

I love this. Yes it's expensive, but a little goes a long way. It's much more filling than white or even brown rice, but not heavy. It really is so tasty, even by it's self. It's so healthy as well. It takes a long time to cook, but no more than brown rice does. It has a lovely chewy texture. I'm addicted. I soak it for a couple of hours before cooking, which makes it a bit quicker to cook. I could happily eat this everyday.

Good product. However, I noticed that the quantity in both of them is much less than the previous orders I'd for the same products. And after compering with other rice's packages I bought containing 500G of rice I, clearly, noticed that these ones only got about 300G in each of them. You can see from the pictures how small they are and there's also quite a bend shown that.

needs more cooking time, I used a rice cooker, will use sauspan next good flavor good cheweyness

Cook this black rice and taste good. Aroma is like black glutinous rice. Also is better than brown rice. Worth the buy. Stomach do not feel bloated unlike white rice.
