This book will help you pass!
Not sure what the first review is talking about, because this book is excellent if you are preparing for the A+ certification. Not only is it well written and easy to read, it also comes with excellent online content. Do yourself a favor, if you want to pass, purchase this book. Disregard the negative, one star review.

You canโt rely on only one study guide to pass an exam
What I love about this study guide is that it explains why the other answers on the quiz are wrong. Very straightforward and easy to read.

Amazon, why are you selling something that covers a test that isn't even offered any more?

There may be better books.
I read the book cover to cover and I learned a lot but it isn't enough to pass the tests. Download an app that has a ton of questions is my best advice and memorize them all. Don't rely on the quizzes in the book because they aren't good enough. And don't think you can read the first half and take the test. You have to finish almost the entire book because topics for each test are distributed throughout. There are also topics on the practice app that I don't remember in the book so maybe there is a better option. That being said the author is very knowledgeable.

Order a new study guide and the cover of book was creased
I was bit upset that I spent 40 dollars and didn't receive the quality of a brand new book. The material and content of the book is good, I would've given a higher rating if it wasn't for that creased on the front cover.

As a Comptia trainer I find this book to be full of details without the ego of other well known books

This book is super thick. It has tons of info except for the laptop section which mostly says "See the manual". Barely any of it was on the exam. Maybe a third of thr book showed up on the exam. Kind of a waste of time really.

If you are planing to take the 2 tests separately don't buy this book. Both tests are mixed in between chapters. Makes it impossible to study for a particular exam. Even if you pass one and fail the second part is so hard to study I ended up buying a different book.
