You would HAVE to put the letter in the fold out tray, and the legal in the tray on bottom, or purchase a second tray, in which case you could put either paper in either tray. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very well refurbished printer, like new *by S***Y on November 3, 2015* Several months now and it works flawlessly. I replaced a 4 year old same model machine, rather than perhaps a newer model or different brand, since I just bought all new supplies a couple of weeks before mine broke down (for some reason the fuser got damaged). Considering the cost of supplies, even generic, it was worthy to get a nicely refurbished machine at a great price. All as described and promised. It has been a good workhorse for general printing, very economical because it has high capacity toners, which makes it bulky, but although it does affect my aesthetic senses it's not a deal breaker. If you need a high quality photos it's not the machine for it, but that's more or less a given with this type of a printer.Btw, although I've been buying supplies on line at a discounted price, I would suggest to check out prices on Amazon - much, much better. ### ⭐ damaged internals *by P***Y on May 24, 2013* This machine was sent to me used, but in NEW condition. The transfer roller was bent and the metal guide bracket was bent as well. The image units were also missing. It was exactly the same if not better and was seamless switching out the old for the new.
