Great Shower Speaker
Bought this for my kids bathroom for my daughter to use! The sound quality is awesome and is compatible with any Bluetooth music devices. Very portable! Could easily take it anywhere with you with the size it is!

Bargain Deal!
I give this five stars in consideration for the price. However, do not mistake this for an excellent product itself. This is, by no means, an incredible speaker. For only ten bucks, it is a fantastic bargain, but don't expect sound quality like Beats or Bose. At least in my master bathroom, it has a muffled sound, especially when the shower is on. And it's really not THAT loud. I find it to only slightly enhance the original volume of music from my iPhone at its loudest. And I find the buttons troublesome. They confuse me. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't, but I honestly am not sure if this is just because I don't understand how to use them (I thought I did after reading the instructions, but they haven't worked well for me, so either I misunderstood or they just don't work well) or they malfunction. I write this review mainly to express cons, so as to help provide a more detailed picture of what new customers would be getting from this purchase: I personally find it annoying how the on/off power of the speaker is laid out. When you turn it on/off, a red light flashes on the button and you hear a distinctive sound to signal either on/off. However, this only lasts for a few seconds, so after say a minute, you have no way of telling if the speaker is actually on/off. I also have to complain about the suction cup. I have settled for just laying the speaker down on the shower seat or just outside the shower (maybe on a sink counter or on the edge of the bath-tub), as the suction easily pops and the speaker falls to the ground after ten-twenty minutes. I say this solely based on my own experience in my personal bathroom. But I would estimate that this is the same for anyone else, unless you have some magical shower wall surface. So this certainly wouldn't be able to hold onto the shower wall for days on end. You'd have to place it on the wall before each shower and then take it off when you are finished, before it clatters to the ground by itself. This strategy worked well enough for me, except I found this incessantly repetitive process to be terribly annoying. But, once again, considering the very cheap price of this sticker, this is absolutely fantastic! The sound quality, while slightly muffled, is pretty fantastic. There are no weird static-y noises that most speakers at this price would have. And the blue color is gorgeous! I love it! So, in the "competitive" pool of ten-dollar speakers, this SoundBot is a sure win! I forgot to mention, the battery life isn't very long. I have to recharge it every few days, even though I only use it for my daily morning routine (I'd estimate this lasts about twenty-thirty minutes each day). And the charger that comes with it only includes the chord, not the plug. You have to get a plug yourself. I just use the one that came with my personal iPad charger, since the cable end is of the USB-format. (I'm not very technical in terms) This is kind of annoying, but it works for me. Just a heads up, though, for all you potential buyers. All in all, if you're looking for a bargain deal, I'd definitely recommend! It does the job! If you're looking for a great sound quality, I'm sorry to say that this speaker isn't for you. You most likely won't be satisfied.

4 years and still going strong!!
**Edit: all good things must come to an end. After 4 years the suction gave out one too many times and it ended up submerged in water for about 20 seconds. Hasn’t worked since. Best believe I’m buying another! Amazing life for the price!** This has been BY FAR one of the best products I’ve purchased on Amazon. I’ve had it for almost 4 years now and recommend it to everyone. I use it every morning while in the shower and getting ready, and I don’t even think I have to charge it even once/month- the battery lasts so long! I’ve never had connectivity issues. I could even be downstairs and my phone will still be connected to this speaker upstairs. Sometimes I’ll wish a podcast were a little louder while in shower, but 98% of the time I have no volume complaints. I have used it to answer phone calls a handful of times but don’t use this feature regularly. The times I’ve answered while in the shower the other person has said it’s hard to hear me... which should be expected though. Can’t expect to have a normal convo with no background noise while you are in the shower. Lol. Anyway... I love this. Was just writing a review for a recent purchase and chose to go down memory lane with some old faves and leave one 4 years in the making. :) BUY THIS!!

Works perfectly! Great buy! (This review is worth your read)
Before buying this shower speaker, I was a little hesitant because there were some negative comments about the volume and it's integrity againts water. But because there were many who were happy with it too, I decided to give it a try... and I am glad that I did. I am very pleased with this purchase for reasons more than one. Let me share some details. (1) It looks very good and it is as it shows in the picture. (2) It is water resistant.... meaning that it does withstand the little droplets here and there from splashing in the shower and it does withstand the moisture build up in the bathroom from the warm water. Nothing beats being careful too so just position it where it needs to be... far from direct water as it is not waterproof and near enough to reach it when you need to like when naswering a phonecall or adjusting the volume etcetrera. After showering, I do take a piece of paper towel and wipe it... just my way of TLC for it. (3) The volume is marvelous. TIP: make sure that your music source is at maximum and simple control the volume from the speaker itself. Otherwise, if the source is at a minimum you will not be able to make it any louder from the speaker volume adjustment. (4) The signal / reception is superb! I have uninterrupted music flowing out of this thing even when my phone is a good distance from it. The phone works well too. Clear conversations bothways. I have used a more expensive bluetooth speaker before wherein I had to take my iphone IN THE BATHROOM for it to have uninterrupted feed to the speaker! Frustrating! So I am sticking with this blue baby :)) (5) To turn it on was a little puzzle for me but I got it figured out... press the power button and you'll hear one beep / sound. Don't release... just keep pressing and you will hear a series of beeps / sounds... that is when the speaker is on. To turn it off is the same way. (6) Battery life is very good. I can only put it this way... I charged it 4 hours prior to initial use as the instructions said. I have been using this daily for 2 WEEKS now and have not charged it again yet. (5) The sound is superb! I am well pleased all in all. 1/9/15 Update: I have been using this daily for the past 2 1/2 months and have only needed to charge it twice so far. One charging a month is not bad at all! Still works great to this time!

My favorite Bluetooth speaker!
I have four of them in different colors at home and at work. I named them by color in my Bluetooth settings. Sound quality is perfect and they’re waterproof. Can take phone calls on it as well.

Good price
I'm going to get pretty detailed for possibly no reason but with all my reviews I'll leave a synopsis at the bottom if you want to skip the details. 1. Sound quality - without it being in the shower yet it sounds like it's in the shower. Very echoed sound if you crank it up it gets very distorted. So if your plans were to turn it up as loud as you can and sing like no ones listening go with a little higher quality speaker. 2. Bluetooth - very easy to connect which I think should be a give in with any new Bluetooth products but sadly it's not. When connected to Bluetooth the light blinks blue which I find slightly annoying (why not just a solid light) but that's knit picky. 3. Battery life I feel like it shouldn't be an issue, just throw it on the charger after your shower. It only takes about 20 minutes to get a full charge out of the box. 4. Microphone - trash. One of the first things I did when I got my phone connected was got a phone call from a friend and the first thing they said was "are you in the bathroom?" I wasn't. I was still in my kitchen. They could barley her me through the built in mic and I think part of the problem is they were getting feedback from the speaker projecting their voice. Anyways I bought mine specifically for a little louder than my phone speaker podcast listening while I shave. And for that purpose it does just fine but if you are looking to jam out and talk to your friends while you shower spend the couple extra bucks for a little higher quality one.

Awesome sound! Works as described! BUT NOT PURPLE!
IT IS NOT PURPLE!!! i HAVE PURCHASED A COUPLE OF THESE IN DIFFERENT COLORS TO DIFFERENTIATE FOR DIFFERENT DEVICES BUT THEY ARE ALL PINK! Works great! Amazing sound! I haven't yet used it in the shower, but I could clearly hear it in the kitchen while I was washing dishes. It looks like it is secure for using in a shower environment. I'm not sure about under water, but it certainly looks like it can take some splashing. One down side is it appeared to stop audio when I plugged it in to charge up. But I just got it a couple hours ago, I will update if this attribute changes. // Yep, won't play when plugged in to charge, but works in all other ways, including in the shower. I don't have flat tiles so it has to get splashed quite a lot in the shower holder. Works great! And sound is very rich. July 14, 2016 UPDATE: I have used this speaker daily since it arrived and it DOES work great, as described, works great in the shower, has greater sound (higher volume also) than my original water proof speaker purchased 3 years ago. (The sound on streaming media can be very quiet and I need this speaker to be heard over both AC at full blast and running water.) I appreciate the many and frequent beeps letting me know the battery is dying so I have PLENTY of time to plug it in or otherwise adjust my entertainment. The only downside is it will not play while charging. I can understand this from a "water proofing" perspective, but I also use this speaker paired with my phone to listen to media in my car and bedroom - and my AC is quite loud, it would be helpful to be able to hear things while the speaker is charging. ALSO I need to add I CAN listen to the speaker when charging, I just need to plug it in and reconnect.

Great Little Speaker
I purchased both the SoundBot SB510 and Wusic bluetooth wireless speakers. I recommend the Wusic speaker by a one star margin due principally to Wusic connecter, sturdiness and slightly better sound. Both work great in the shower and are improvements over the phone speaker. Here is a side by side comparison. Price. When I purchased the units the two were price equivalents. Oddly, I have seen various prices (all prime) so the Wusic can be $1 cheaper to $8 more. Prices fluctuate so I would not pay more than a couple of dollars premium for the Wusic before going to the SoundBot. Sound. The Wusic has a slight edge but only in side by side comparisons. The Wusic was a little crisper at the higher volumes. Compared to the Samsung Galaxy phone speaker both were fantastic improvements. Compared to the Apple 5 phone speaker, both provided greater volume and depth. In other words, these are great additions. But neither are stereo nor can two be paired to be stereo. There are other speakers, like the HMDX Jam Plus, can be paired so that they play in stereo, but those stereo speakers are not water resistant. Putting the unit's suction cup on a hard surface (even if the suction is not employed) improves the bass sound. So don't just put the unit in a hanging shower organizer or the bass is not as good. Volume. Many complain about loudness. I think that they don't realize that there are two volume controls, the speaker's and the phone's. I suggest putting the speaker to full volume and then adjusting the volume through the phone, which I find easier to manipulate. Bluetooth Pairing. Both speakers pair very easily, just turn on the speaker and the phone blutooth function (my preferred order) and they pair automatically. The Wusic has an obnoxious loud voice while the SoundBot is quieter. There were occasional Bluetooth drop offs but I blame my Galaxy. Both units easily switch from one phone to the other but I think that we caused interference once or twice and had to turn off one phone's Bluetooth. Both have about a ten yard range. The SoundBot had an endlessly blue/red flashing light that I could not figure out, which knocked it down another peg for me. Battery. Both came charged and seemed to hold similar charge times. However, a big difference for me was the power connector. The Wusic has a standard mini-USB of which I have a few power cords. The SoundBot has a small circular non-standard charger. I hate it being non-standard so I knock it a full star for that alone. It complicates the SoundBot's charging for me as I am always looking for its unique power cord. Controls. Both have the forward/back buttons double as volume buttons. The SoundBot feels much flimsier in its construction but I liked the size of its buttons. Despite the size, the flimsiness of the construction brought me back to the Wusic. Both can take calls but in the shower conversations are very difficult due to ambient noise. Conclusion. I went back and bought a second Wusic for the office as they were still price equivalent. The Wusic is sturdier with a universal charger. If that is not important to you then go by the lowest price. EDIT: Third time's a charm. If you are not concerned about water-proofing then the speaker to get is: DKnight Magicbox Ultra-Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker,Powerful Sound with build in Microphone, Works for all smart phones. The Dknight ($30) has a much fuller sound than the Wusic or Soundbot.

Works Perfect
This is a perfect lightweight and compact bluetooth speaker. Does the job for what I need it for - just for when I take showers. Sound and reception are great. My phone stays in the bedroom and there are no issues w/ connecting. Well worth it in my opinion!
