Honkihide Chisel Set of 10

Uses: For carving, woodprints, and woodworking. Review: Nice set - Came nicely packaged and the paulownia box was in good shape and unwarped. I didn't have the issue with the chisels not sitting flat in the box. As for the performance of the chisels themselves, I haven't broken them in yet. They are indeed very light (as another reviewer wrote), but I don't mind. Review: They're sharp at least - The quality of the chisels themselves are okay. But they're extremely light. They feel almost weightless. Which I don't really like, I prefer some weight to my tools. I was planning on using these for wood block print making but only a few of them are serviceable in that role with the edges they have now. And the edges are razor sharp and quite hard. They hold well. I'm just disappointed they aren't finer. The scoops are quite shallow and the V gouge isn't small enough to do what I need. The box lid was warped horribly too. It won't sit level. And the box is made of the same light weight cheap un stained baswood. I expected more for over a hundred dollars. Oh and there's no fastening or fittings in the box so the tools are loose. And you have to get them completely flat to fit in the box which is a challenge since they rub against one another and move each other as you try to flatten them. I'll probably just toss the box.
