No dishwasher! Trust me, don’t do it.
I love the pan and use it a few times a week. I haven’t tried it in the oven. It does say not to put it in the dishwasher and I thought, it won’t hurt it, I’ll try it. Well, the handle *fills* up with water and it’s extremely difficult to get it out! You have to spend about 5 minutes shaking it over a sink to get it out (there is no opening and there isn’t meant to be). Heed my advice and wash it by hand like they recommend. Every time I forget, I quickly remember and mentally kick myself again. As for cooking, the heat distribution is not bad, it’s obviously hotter in the middle. Non stick is pretty good too. Overall, a very good pan and washes easy…so don’t put it in the dishwasher!

Slick egg pan.
Bought this as a anniversary present for the wife. Yea, seems lame, but we are middle age and don't buy each other much. But, she scrambles herself a couple of eggs almost daily, and she spent way too much time cleaning a crusty pan. So, I bought her this for the sole purpose of being an egg pan. I have also used it for over easy eggs. Well, this pan is legit for eggs. No stick. No crusty eggs. No stick whatsoever, did I mention that? Even melted cheese doesn't stick. We cook on medium-low power only. She uses spray, I use a dab of olive oil. Similar results. This is not a high heat pan! Used for a couple of months now, as I wanted to get lots of use before reviewing. That time is up. This is a great egg pan. I would definitely recommend. Your uses may vary, but if you need a good nonstick medium or lower pan, this is it. Oh, the lid is actually pretty nice, and fits and seals nicely.

Were great at first!
I love this pan! I have had it for about 3 weeks now. It is the best pan I have ever owned so far. Nothing sticks to it and the cleanup is so easy! I fry 5 to 6 eggs in it. I use no butter, oil, nothing but a bit of water. This pan is so easy to clean that I don't even have to wipe it. I just give is a spray and it is like new. I am happy I ordered 2 of these. Update: My excitement in these pans were short lived. I have had them just under 1 year and the coating is chipping and discolored on BOTH, also, the lids no longer fit either pan. I guess the pans have warped. They are still non stick but with the chipping I no longer feel safe using these.

Great Pan with a couple of exceptions
We have an older version of this one that we've used almost every day. It finally got to where it was starting to stick so we decided to get a new one. The old one was black where this new one is grey and the old one had a Bakelite handle where the new one has a stainless steel one. This new one has the steel handle which does get too hot to hold onto for very long. Also, this new one has a convex bottom, so when you pour oil into it the oil all runs to the outer edges of the pan. Other than the handle and convex bottom it's a great pan that nothing (so far) has been sticking to.

Not my first or last Koch System Pan
I've purchased multiple Koch System pans, and I'll keep buying more. Great heat distribution and the surface prevents sticking. Not much else needs to be said. They are the best "budget" pans you can buy.

Love This Pan With Lid
Great 8” non-stick pan. The plus factor for me was the lid. So hard to find small fry pans that are not connected to a whole set of pans, that come with a lid. Cleanup is great! I put the lid in dishwasher but hand wash the pan. Think it’s better in the long run for the non-stick feature of the pan.

Very Ight weight , but heats evenly and is very easy to maintain.
I have used this pan only a few weeks and I am surprised at how effectlive it is. It is very light weight which concerned me but that has proven to be an asset, rather than a defect. Following instructions I use very low heat and was surprised at how well the pan performed. Heat distributes evenly....often a problem in low priced pans. I am very careful and do not use abrasive utinsels in cooking or cleaning and so I can't rate its scratch resistence. I am quite satisfied and look forward to many years of effective use. ( the pan it replaced was 7 years old.). I use the pan every day , frequently two or three times, and so far, so good. ( i have several pans this size, most not coated, and find that I prefer using this coated pan). It is extremely easy to clean.

Poor construction, dangerous to use and falsely advertised
So, it’s been less than a year that I’ve been using these two pans, I bought both 8” and 11” in May 2020, it’s April 2021 now and I’m throwing them away. I used the smaller 8” pan almost every day for eggs in the morning and the large 11” maybe every other day for sautéing and frying some other food. At first everything was fine, I use oil for cooking so the coating was nonstick as advertised. But after a month of everyday use the little pan became yellow and the coating started peeling off with the tiny flakes that are like melted plastic bags, I tried to take a close view of that. Totally unpleasant experience, since I don’t know how much of that plastic (advertised as stone) I’ve eaten so far. The large one held up a little longer since it hasn’t been used daily, but it’s the same - peeling off with plastic flakes on the inside, and the little pan is now bare aluminum as you can see in the pics, so everything sticks to it completely. They both seem even on the inside when not in use, but as soon as you turn the burner on, the bottom becomes uneven in the middle, it rises a little and the oil is distributed at the edges only. As for the heat distribution, the middle is also the hottest part, and if the 8” pan is mostly heated evenly, the large 11” pan is heated unevenly, and if you are doing pancakes or patties they are always over cooked in the middle and undercooked closer to the edge. But the worst part is the handle. It might seem safe to use since it doesn’t heat as much, but that’s only before the first wash in the dishwasher. It took me a while to figure out why the handle was easy to hold without anything at first and why I then burnt my hand a few times on it. That’s because it is hollow inside and flattened at the ends. If you place it with the handle up in the dishwasher, the water comes into the handle through the slit at the end and doesn’t come out until you don’t place it handle down. Then, if you had bad luck to collect some water inside the handle and start using the pan without letting it to drain for a while or without shaking it out (yes, I tried everything), the water starts boiling at some point and the handle - ba-dum-tss! - heats up to the temperature of boiling water. And there is also hot steam coming out of the slit at this moment. So be extremely careful when washing these pieces of cr... aluminium, as the handles are poorly designed what makes them dangerous to use. Not being mentioned they are advertised as non-heating handles, if I’m correct. So, these pans are not worth the money they cost.
