I could see it working very well in a drip coffee machine or for refilled pods, too. However, if you are using a high-end espresso machine that requires a very fine, specific grind for proper extraction, you might get better results by grinding your own beans. Overall, this is a fantastic, flavorful coffee that strikes a great balance between strength and smoothness. The quality is consistent from bag to bag, and it delivers a delicious cup that reminds me of the coffee I’ve had in Italian cafes. Great tasting coffee. However, be advised that this espresso is not as finely ground as typical preground espressos (compared to Illy intenso or Cafe Bustelo). I am using this coffee in a moka pot which works just fine, but if you are using a proper espresso machine you might want to avoid and grind your own.

Wow. Double moka shot. I'm new to using a moka coffee pot. I upgraded to 2 cup. This stuff will definitely get me going in the morning.
